• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This is why I do not get on this highway in bad weather. To many semi trailers on this stretch of road from Chitown to the Motor City.

This happened 10 days ago about 30 miles down the road from my house. The video coming out of this accident is downright frightening.

Scary..!!

This is why I avoid freeways in bad weather. Side roads and backroad may be slow but this will be held to a minimum if it should happen at all. Sadly once it starts it is really hard to stop...:yikes:

Scary. Also my reason for not venturing out on bad roads.

I know what I am doing, but you never know what they are going to do. :yikes:

That is one of the reasons I live in the Southwest. It's 63 degrees right now in Vegas..

That's a bit ccccccccccccccccccold, isn't it? Was there two years ago December and experienced mid 30's. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

:roflblack::roflblack: I know, I know, who goes there for the weather? :roflblack:

Looked like they were going WAY too fast for conditions!!!:yikes: It's a miracle no one else was killed!

I hated that stretch of I94 when I lived in eastern Michigan and we would travel to Chicago to visit relatives. I was happy to move to the west side of the state where I no longer had that lousy stretch of road to contend with. Now that I'm in Las Vegas we have to deal with the rare rainfall and all the mayhem that it brings about. Right about the same time this I94 mess happened we had a pretty significant rainfall and the police responded to something like 200 traffic accidents. The bad drivers are everywhere. :banghead:
