• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

180 miles on a tank.

36.1 mpg! :2thumbs:

:bowdown:Went on a ride last weekend, put 241 miles using ECO mode, put in 6.1 gallons very nervous the last ten miles

All right guys my bride and I are(hopefully) going on a ride Sat or Sun I think I can beat that
And when I say guys I, mean any riders of a spyder

I haven't been in Ruidoso/Hondo area since 1979. Love that area, or at least I did. I probably wouldn't recognize it now. That's really good mileage.

Wow..!!

that's great..did you enjoy the ryde or worry if you were going to make it...!! :roflblack: great photos from along the way...

The last 50 miles I drove a little slower than the speed limit of 70. Hondo is the last place to get gas before roswell.

I just did my longest tank ever: 172 myles, 5.34 gal, 32.2 mpg. It was a rare wind-free day!

That's on a 2012 RTL SE5 two-banger, with 123 myles of that being 2-up.
Was yours on a 1330, or what? :dontknow: 36.2 is greeeeaaaaat mileage!

Feeling somewhat adventuresome last week, I decided to ride until the low fuel warning light came on. But the light never came on despite a 214.2 mile trip! I don't recall how much fuel it took, but I think it was around six gallons. I have gotten as high as 39.8 mpg on a tank. Usually I'm in the 35 to 38 mpg range. I ride solo (but I'm a big solo). Love the 2014.

The other day I got 128.6 miles on 2.95 gallons. I was running ethanol free 91. I went to another station on the next fill up and got nowhere near that type of mileage. I am going back to the Valero in Norwich to get the "good stuff" again. I am under the impression that the second tank of fuel might not have been ethanol free.

Just sayin'...........

Greattttttttttttttttttttttt

Just arrive in Knoxville TN. from Houston TX. and average 175 miles to a take on my 2012 limited

34 mpg (US gallon) is fairly normal for me. I don't get below 32 anymore and last year I got 39 on one tank. Today I got 296.4 kms (184.2 mi.) when I stopped to fill up with gas. Put in 19.61 L (5.18 US gallons). That works out to 35.5 mpg. The ECM update did not hurt the gas mileage any and it runs much better. No more hesitation on acceleration and no more flooding out and stalling on a cold weather startup.

I think you should this kind of gas mileage all the time.

Obviously the ST gets better gas mileage than the RT because it is lighter. I get 31-32 on my RT at 65-70 MPH. 30 with the trailer on. I consider that good enough for me.

At 75-80 the MPG drop about 2MPG on my 2013 RTS SE5. A lot has to do with your style of riding and you will get better gas mileage if you use Cruise Control as much as possible.
