• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

18 F3L: issues removing the frunk?!?

Trying to remove the frunk and running into issues. It looks like the top grey piece covering the computer connection, is over the top of the frunk piece where the lock goes in. So I do not see how to get the frunk out without breaking the greay piece..advice?

Pull up on the piece. It removes. Are you taking off the whole frunk, or, the frunk bucket? The bucket comes out with 4 pushpins. Remove the panel, bucket lifts out. Call me if you need help. Joe

There are raised panels on each end. Insert finger from the front and lift. Get some plumbers grease and put on the pins to make it easier to do next time. Lifting from the rear of the panel will just have it hitting the upper cowl/headlight and it won't come out (on the F3 at least).

I use a silicone grease, like spark plug boot grease, on all my PITA sticky rubber grommets on vehicles and my toys.
