• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. 17th Street BBQ trip Saturday?

I work every Saturday, which puts an end to a lot of riding with groups for us...thanks anyway...Hope you have fun, while I'm hard at work!...:bbq:

350 miles each way for lunch? why not?

We have our monthly local spyder ryders meeting Saturday... now... if you did it Sunday I might be able to convince a few to ride down Saturday afternoon and meet up Sunday for lunch before heading home

Ooh BBQ! Boy that sure is tempting but I just came through that area last week coming home from Texas and one can only spend so much time traveling the exciting path from northern IL to southern IL it's to soon to go south again, how about in October? ;)

October is a definite possibility!

My wife and I are still going this weekend tho. We have an "open house" and I think our realtor would like for us to clear out. So, I thought, what better excuse than a BBQ run!

Good luck with the sale!

I'm still going somewhere this weekend... dunno where... must... ride...

Another Spyder meeting missed . Ill be in the dells , so no riding for me . At least I have today, tomorrow and monday off . So I can at least get out a little bit today and or monday .

Have another ride planned

Supposed to go on a church ride to Giant City for chicken dinner. Not sure I will go on that either since I just got back from trout fishing for several days at Montauk State Park. My wife is starting to make noises about being gone. Maybe in about three weeks. Stuff planned for each of the next three weeks. Thanks

A great day to ride and had great company. Our friends Kent and Tammy went along on their Sportster and Farmer Jim Dumey and his wife Lu came along on their VTX. Ate at 17th St BBQ the BBQ World Champs for a few years. Mmmmmmm!

Here is the whole crew.

Thanks to Steve, Connie, Kent, Tammy & my wife Lu. Beautiful day for a ride and great destination for filling up. Yes, Steve got us on his RT and Pigs did fly. What can I say. The day will come, I have no doubt. To paraphrase a Crosby, Stills & Nash song, "If you can't ride the one you want, ride the one you're with".
