There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. My 2014 RTL turned 15000 miles yesterday.. When you add the 2500 miles i put on a test bike, I have really had an active first half.
I LOVE THIS MACHINE. I have had no repair issues at all and ran the bike hard for the full 9300 mile maintenance interval without any oil use. thank goodness for the better gas mileage.. that has saved me a bundle this year. I have been getting as much as 40 mpg lately a decent highway speeds. The kenda tires are long gone and I see no hope for them on a Spyder with this power.
Ryde safe friends.. Hope you have as much fun as i have been having.

Stop..!!

and smell the roses...do you ever sleep..!! :roflblack::roflblack: congrats you are an avid ryder but really good to hear how well the roadster is doing..be safe out there and enjoy..!! :ohyea::ohyea:

15,000 :firstplace:

That's great to hear! It just confirms what we've all been seeing from the new RT. BRP really did a great job on this machine. It does sound like you've got a lot of time on your hands down there in Florida. I for one am jealous. I guess we'll be seeing your 30,000 miles post before the end of the summer

You have done some serious riding this year. Wish we had a little better weather up here to be able to get out a little more in the early Spring.

Congrats on 15000

What tires are you using ?

Congrats to YOU & BRP

Have enjoyed reading your first hand '14 RT performance reports. :doorag:

Think we're far enough into riding season to begin to have confidence that BRP got it right for '14.

Congrats BRP!

Thanks for posting about the 15K mileage. It does sound like they have a winner. 3K miles here and in the chase. :roflblack:

BikerDoc,
I will be monitoring your progress as you rack up the miles on the ACE 1330 motor, as I'm giving serious thought to getting one once I recover from surgery. If you wouldn't mind sharing how much have you spent on having your RT serviced?
Mike

That certainly did get it right this time. Like you, I have ridden the heck out of mine and the test Spyder, and I am thoroughly impressed with it. My front tires are showing a little wear with 12,700 miles on them and I am on my 2nd rear tire. I was a little late on the 1st service (4,000 miles) so I will be doing my 2nd service after Durango.

My first service cost around $100 as I had the dealer do everything but the oil change. So for me the cost of ownership so far is $100 plus one oil change and one rear tire. We did the tire change at home also. The maintenance cost savings over a 990 is substantial since I would be ready for oil change #4 at this point.

Well i am at least in 3 rd place, i just turned over 10,300.

Parking brake actuator motor went out but that is no big deal, i will get it replaced shortly.

New Kuhmo ECSTA AST tire on rear
