• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

139HP Rotax motor

I remember going through all this 3 years ago; the engine in the RS (GS) is the same basic engine as the Aprilia Tuono and 2 cylinder RSV, the gearing (1 thru 5) is identical, 6th gear was removed to make room for reverse.
If I had the money and inclination, I think the 1135 kit and an advance in the cam drive (1 to 1.5 degrees) with stock cams would would be a nice setup in the Spyder, it would move the torque curve down, and increase the torque at the same time, while limiting the peak RPM by about 1K rpm.
We have to remember that the Spyder is basically pushing a barn door down the road, and to compare a trike (any trike) to a 2 wheeler is apples to oranges.. I read an article about a Victory Cross Roads with a Lehman kit on it that got 26 mpg, but the author didn't complain about the mileage, where in an earlier issue of the same mag, 29 mpg on an RT was bad. Wonder why.
OK rant over.
