• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We just returned from a wonderful 4 Day, 4 State 1300 mile ride with a group we call the Wild Hogs. This year the ride honored one of our dear friends who died suddenly last month from Cardiac Arrest due to Arithmia. He was only 46 years old. We missed him greatly.
there were about 35 along on the ride. Ages from early twenty something to late seventy something.
the bikes represented included a bunch of Harley's a bunch of Goldwings a couple of Honda VTX 1800's, several Yamaha's a few BMW's, a couple of Victory's and One Wonderful 2012 Spyder RTs.
We left Ogden Utah on Wednesday June 4th and returned today June 7th.
We traveled to Boise Idaho, then to Cascade Idaho. Spent the night there in a great Hotel. The Ashley Inn. The next day throgh some beautiful country to Missoula Montana, spent the night in another great inn. The Guest House Inn, next day to Idaho Falls Idaho. Spent the night at another Guest House Inn, we had great service from each of them.
I averaged a little over 31 mpg for the trip. A low of 28 and a high of 42.
The Spyder ran flawlessly. I love it more the more I ride it. What a great machine.
We arrived home this afternoon with another grin to last. Long time. We passed through Utah Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. Some very beautiful country to view. Perfect Weather and the roads were generally in good shape.

Congratulations..!!

sounds like an excellent trip. Really perfect..no weather problems, no spyder problems no housing problems so I assume the foid was great as well. What could be better. Sorry for yours all loss but you did him proud...:2thumbs:

Sounds like a trip to remember! Sorry you had to do that in honor of a fallen member, but I cannot think of a better way to due that. To be able to do 4 days and that many miles with 35 bikes is a testament to your group :2thumbs:

What a trip, and nice way to "remember your friend that passed. He/she was to young to die.:pray::pray: and thoughts go out the family, and your group.

Lucky Dog

That is some of the most beautiful countryside there is, I am envious. I have been there many times in the summer and winter, but never on Spyder. Did you come down through West Yellowstone and Island Park? Over the Beartooth or down the Chief Joseph? You lucky dog!
