• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

12K maintenance

For those who have hit the 12K miles, how much was your maintenance cost from the dealer??? :chat:

I dropped mine off Saturday and was quoted at just under $1,500... Good thing I was sitting down or I would of fell....

My quote was just about the same. Totally rediculous if you ask me. Look at valves and then say.......oh, they don't need adjusted. I know there is more they do, but not 1200 worth.

Most of the quotes I have seen detailed on the site were between 800 & 1200.
Mine was$850 & $254 of that was parts

ya the guy behind the counter was the person i always deal with... he showed me the monitor of the breakdown... $206.00 in parts, the rest labor...

it was totally bs if u ask me... a mechanic came in and i asked him about it and he was saying that it takes 4-6 hours just to replace the break fluid... crazy.....

wonder if i get a reach around when they are done...

I could buy a fair amount of Gas, Oils, Filters, and Fluids for 1500.00...But that is just me, To each his own...:ohyea:

Mine was $1819 but I had brakes and all new tires . Minus labor and parts for brakes and tires it came to $1002 Way too much!

I just had mine done. The dealer I bought from 30 miles away was rumored to have really good rates at about $500 to $600, but with the baby and such I decided to go to my local dealer for the 12k.

Note - I had the entire front end torn off.. no trunk, no bumper... all side panels were off as I had just upgraded my shocks and sway bar. They also did the DPS recall while it was there. So I saved them some hassle.

I handed them a list of only the 12k items I wanted done, and that I would do or had done the rest myself.

They quoted me roughly $650... Bill came to $850 as I had two new front tires put on....

So, I don't think that was a bad deal.. perhaps not a great deal considering the amount of dis-assembly I had already done for them... But I wasn't robbed, and they made some money so that is ok.
