• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

12 volt plug in gauge knock outs?

I have a 2010 RT w/o the extra gauges. Has anyone ever tried to put a 12volt cig outlet in the gauge knockouts? I have not pulled my dash bezel out yet, but I was hoping to use a hole saw and drill the right sized hole and mount a water proof outlet. Figured I could find a hot wire to splice into for juice. Just thinkin........what do you guys think or has it been done before. :dontknow:

If you do a search, you will find what others have done. Good Luck!

I had the same issue with the tabs. I purchased a large metal washer and drilled it out to the size of the outlet. It holds the tabs in place a whole lot better. Have not had the blank come out since and the fit is tighter.
