• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Congratulations to BRP . . . .

. . . . and just imagine a world without Spyders!

Thank you so much, BRP!

Tom

Congratulations..!!

A real milestone for BRP..:2thumbs::yes::yes::clap::clap::ohyea::ohyea: keep up the great job...

If that is the 100,000th Spyder produced since 2008 that is like 12,000 a year world wide. Doesn't seem like a big number, when you brake in down.

Do they have a breakdown of how many for each year. Ill bet the Exponential curve over the past few years will shock you. Then compare it to the growth curve of Harley Davidson.

At the beginning of the Spyder in 2007, production were only 4-5 months per year. Spyders were sold only in selected states in the USA and provinces in Canada. Remember, BRP have only one assembly plant and one line at each time. Each assembly line have 5 quality check stations and each bike have to go thru quality check inspection before going further in the production line. That's take time...

So, having 100000 Spyder produces is a great milestone and us, here in Quebec, are very proud of all men and women working there in Valcourt (Quebec).

At the rate their going now, it will be in the year 2087. This is the first time I have seen any production numbers from BRP on the Spyders.
