• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

01/23/14 Build Date

the fact that you are asking, concerns me when thinking about buying 2014 nojoke...

I'm concerned as as well but I have confidence in my dealer...still, should I buy the 14 RTL, I'll check now and then to ensure no oil leak just for my piece of mind...trust but verify!

Based on most of the feedback I've received so far I'm not going to make this issue a deal breaker. Whether I pull the trigger or not will depend on the deal and whether I can resist following the test ryde (being able to resist after the test ryde concerns me more than the oil leak issue). Good luck!

The test ride is what got the wife and I hooked! :yes:
We love it!!!

Spyryd - if you do trade someone is going to get one sweet '12

Best of luck

Thanks, R_R. I really love my '12...it has never let me down in over 26k miles. Really have mixed emotions about my "lust" for the '14. I need to really stick to my guns when it comes to negotiating with my dealer on trade-in value, price, sweetness, etc. If the deal does not work I still have my baby to enjoy. See 'ya at SF!

I know! It's hard to give up a sure thing for something hopefully better but, what-the-heck, life's a gamble so why not enjoy it while we're still vertical, right?

ABSOLUTELY!!! :clap: My 2011 RTS 582 was a great ride. The young lady that acquired it is going to have a lot of fun. Time and climate have teamed up against me for the moment, but it won't be too much longer!

Mine was born on 1/23. Mine has absolutely no issues what-so-ever, and I have over 1,000 miles on the odometer.

Build date of 2/14 on mine with 1700 miles first oil change completed at 1,000 miles. No leaks

:yes::yes::yes:

Thanks all for the replies. I bought the 14 RT-L and picked it up from my dealer on 20 Mar. Had the 3000 mile service done yesterday (had 2999 miles on the odometer when dropped at the dealer). Included in that mileage was a 1300 mile trip to TN. On the way home from TN, rode 662.7 miles in 11 and 1/2 hours all in the rain (mostly heavy rain) with stops for fuel only. That's a personal one day distance record for me. Previous record was 440 miles on my 12 RT-L. The 14 RT being so smooth and comfortable (aftermarket Ultimate seat) even ryding in downpours, is why I was able to do that distance. Needless to say I LOVE my 14 RT-L.
