• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Battery Life

As said before, I change all of my vehicle batteries every three years. I ride in west Texas and don't wish to have a battery failure in no where along with no cell service.....I consider my battery expense the same as I do insurance. Ya don't need it until you need it.....

Good example of a shot battery

I agree with Bill but replace batteries every three years.....needed or not. If I would get stranded in southwest Texas, with no cell service or towns and little vehicle traffic I would be in trouble.....which I don't need. Yep, every three years....and give them a full charge before...

    Battery replacement

I change all my vehicle batteries every three years. If my battery goes out in far west Texas they will find my cold dead body with my cell phone clutched in my hand. Oh, did I mention, no cell service in that area. :spyder2:

Can-Am Spyder vs Gold Wing Trike Handling

As you see I have a 2017 RTS (my third Spyder) and a 2002 Gold Wing with a 2005 Motor Trike kit and I like both. They are different rides for sure. Too many differences to list but in the hill country I like my Spyder as it is easier in the twisties. If going to west Texas on the Interstate...

    2018 rt trailer tumbler

I was told by a BRP employee that CBs are not a big thing in Canada so they stopped making the entertainment wiring on the 2018 models and discontinued the CB also. Their CBs were not much good anyway. The CB on my GW is MUCH better and I do miss it on Mr. White. I think BRP is missing a...

    Purchasing a Spyder

Make sure front tire pressures are the same....around 17-18 and the rear 28-30. Uneven pressures in front will give you a bad ride. Good luck. :spyder2:

Migrating From 2 Wheels To 3 Wheels

I ride my Spyder and Wing and like both. If on an Interstate for long distance, my Wing is best for me. My Spyder is great in the hill country that I ride for the most part. If I only could have one I would go with the Spyder. I kept my Wing as I could not get too much for it and it runs like...
