• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    BRP extended warranty

Sadly, dealers in FL cannot sell the B.E.S.T. warranties. I got mine with a phone call to Pit Bull in Springfield.

    tire pressure consensus

20 in the front and 30 on the rear since 2011 on my RT. Excellent mileage on everything. Best thing for tires ts the ROLO alignment, IMHO.

In search of parade flag holder

I made one ... You might need to trim your fender a little. I use a latch pin to secure the flagpole in the mount.

    Frunk 12 Volt Outlet

I have a 2011 and it does that any time I unplug something - F9 I think in the Frunk. I installed an ASE plug directly from the battery to under the seat and I use that for my charger (can also use it for a compressor or could be used for heated gear) and I put a 20A fuse in that. I have a...

    Question for Ultimate Seat owners

The rain cover is usually free - at least both of mine were. I tried to use the one for my RT once and got drenched while never getting it on right. I don't use them and both the RT and the Vulcan have gotten rained on a bit. If there is any issue with that, I have not seen it. The foam in...

    Sunkist and a traditional motorcycle

I have a 2011 RT SM5 and a 2012 Vulcan 900. I got the Spyder after not riding for 30 years and really love it (34K miles in 2 yrs). The Vulcan is a completely different experience and, to be honest, I think I enjoy riding it even more. I actually find it more comfortable - it takes a couple...

    Brake Longevity Question

Agree with all of the above. I have 34K on my original brakes on my 2011 RT. Always downshift and stay off the brakes in corners. Pull a trailer some but most miles are 1 up rural roads. I think it makes a difference if you have a SM vice an SE. Still have about 40% left on all wheels ...

    Cargo Trailer

I got it here - it's gone up a little in $ in two years. I do use the BRP hitch and used the pole harness to adapt to the 4 pin wires on the trailer. http://www.motorcycle-rack.com/CycleTrailer.htm

    Cargo Trailer

I think everyone that has one loves them but they are pricey. I have an all metal motorcycle trailer that weighs less than the 622 and works great. I don't even know it's back there. It was around $1200 delivered...

another video from the brp owners event, short with disclaimer from last

Seth, I met you in Durango in 2012 and was not only impressed with your riding skills but even more with your positive outlook on life and how you make the best of it. I did try to follow you once ... realized I wasn't in you league and waved as you disappeared around the next curve. I have...
