• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Driver Floorboards for a 2012 RT SE5

I have a set of "like new" full size Seal floor boards for sale I was about to post in For Sale but I saw this thread... Asking $299. Seal full-size floor boards for Spyder RT (and RT-S and RT-Ltd) without factory boards. Darn near perfect condition. Mount in about 15 minutes and the...

What is the best way to by-pass the frunk lock?

Another idea... You could just get a generic key cut (no transponder) and slide it under the passenger footrest rubber pad. That way, nobody can steal your Spyder (won't start with that key), but you can still unlock the trunk if you leave your keys in your heavy pants and you change into...

Just went from 2011 to 2014 RT-S... QUESTIONS.

Just picked up a 2014 RT-S in Cognac with 3400 miles on it. I only wish my 2011 off the dealer floor was detailed as nicely as this 2014; it's absolutely perfect! Now for the questions: 1) I got used to never letting the 998 get below 3K rpm, but the 1330 ACE is a whole different beast. I'm...

    Armor All ??

So, I know it's bad to Armor All motorcycle tires because they use the sidewall for traction as they lean into curves, but how 'bout Spyder Tyres? Your thoughts welcome.

How fast do rear brakes wear?

Thank you and UPDATE... First of all, thank you to everyone who checked in to this post previously with their comments and experiences! I just came back from the service to repair my Spyder (2011 RT-S with 19,729 miles). All three brakes (and tires) were replaced at 16,489 miles (3240 miles...

How fast do rear brakes wear?

OK, so I have a dilemma. My first set of tires and brakes lasted 16,000 miles. (I'm a fairly sedate ryder.) I am now 3,000 miles down the road (19,000 on the clock) and I have switched to a new, closer dealer. On my way over there for an oil change, my RT-S threw a brake failure code. Turns...

Less expensive HMT Brake Light flasher...

Just added this to my 2011 RTS... added a slow continuous pulse to the brake light. This is the mode I chose. Not enough of a flash to trigger seizures but enough to get your attention! It also is highly customizable as to brightness, flash rate, type of flash, etc. And here's where to...

    Eye problems on Tuesday !!

Right. It was 65 degrees in Central PA in December. So I just couldn't SEE going into work. Hopped on my Spyder, ran a few errands, stopped at Gander Mountain, bought a box of .38's, went to the range, got back on the Spyder (minus a box of .38's), did about another 100 miles on the...
