• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Dragon closed...

That's in the far northern section. Looks like you can still run it from the store up to the overlook. Probably happened Sunday night/Monday morning from the heavy rains. Was fine when I was on it Sunday. Too bad it didn't happen earlier. Over the weekend a sports car spun out and killed two...

    Cold Fingers

Heated gloves are the best solution. But wiring yourself to the bike can be a pain. battery operated gloves are even more expensive and not warm enough for some folks. heated grips are harder to install, but easy to use. But they only heat the inside of your fist. Gloves designed for heated...

The LX is only good for 1650#. That would be pushing the limit. Hopefully you have a V6 model, good for 3500#. Sheepskin seatbelt wraps. She didn't want the wheels scuffed.

Yet Another Thread on the Harbor Freight Lift

Place a chunk of 2x8 between each of your rails when you let the lift down and you won't have to 'hop' the rail to back it off of the lift. Will anxiously await reports of your success.

Spyder tie down system on DropTail ?

Rear: there are two frame loops under the tail that are feet when you drop the tail. Hook onto those. I'd recommend using extension straps and replacing your strap hooks with quick links. Front: use the hook points on the outer corner, through the rim, to the center 'handles' on the tongue. Use...

So who is in line for a 2014 RT

My trees and landscaping needs mulch. But I'm not paying travel time! That's more of an ambush fundraiser. "Gimme $20 or I'm gonna wash your car in my bikini!" They want you to bite the bullet and settle for another color..this year. Then next year they'll add red and you'll have to trade up...

    Fuzeblock switched connection

There is an available plug under the tail that is used for the GPS kit power. Female plug is wired to the bike, empty male is plugged into it. You would need to find out which holes in the male to use. I could have told you yesterday, but I put the bodywork back on last night. Wherever you get...

    BRP GPS mounting kit

In the process of mounting a GPS to the wife's new RS-S with the BRP mounting kit. Had to remove all of the Tupperware from the handlebars back to run the wire to the available power outlet. Which model of Drop Tail trailer recommended?

We got the full deck droptail. Didn't want the front tires riding on the expanded metal. We bought the two bike set-up because that is what the dealer had. Same trailer as the utility version with added rails and chocks. Rails aren't a problem and chocks come off in 5 minutes. pretty much...

Out with the old, in with the new!

BRP bags, dealer installed. I put Givis one her last one, three years ago. She still remembers how much I cussed. She also got the fog lights. Color panels for bags, sport rack, and backrest already ordered. Trailer is a Drop Tail. Works great. $3400 out the door. Kinda had to improvise on tie...
