• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Maine Rydes?

We are still out here in the big city of New Sharon. Only been out once this year so far. Until the wife gets done with the school year we don't get out that much. That and the only good weather we seem to get is on weekdays and that thing called a job seems to keep us off the scooter. Summer...

POSITIVE NOTES I have owned 2 Spyders at this point. First was a 08 RS manual trans, traded that off for a 2010 RT manual audio and convenience group. Just a couple of added equipment pieces. Both unit have performed flawless. 6,000 miles on the 08 and 15,000 on the RT at this point. Other than...

    After Market Exhaust

I had a 08 Spyder with a Juice Box and a Two Brothers single pipe. I did use the longer tip for the outlet and I thought it was a very nice sound. Does not upset the neiborhood to much. I have a 2010 RT now that is bone stock. Like to hear the radio.

Did you get your DPS done yet?

Got mine done in late December. Have not been on the road to see how it handles. The Dealer trailered it to the shop and brought it back to me. Snow to deep and tons of salt and sand on the roads up here. A cool -5 degrees here this morning so the white stuff is not going away soon. Can't wait...

    SPYDER WITHDRAWALS

I agree its a long time that the RT has been idle. Just out in the garage tinkering with the snow plow and talking with the Spyder. I love to ride my other BRP toys but it sure would be nice at 70 degrees, with the wheels turning instead of the track at 10 degrees.....

    Changed my exhaust today

They do sound great when a pipe is put on. I had a 08 Manual with a Two Brothers single pipe and I liked it. I have a RT with tunes. I don't know if I will change this one. You should not need to do any battery disconnect. The computer will adapt as much as it can (do to the parameters in the...

    RT ACCIDENT

It sounds like the folks on the Spyder are ok but beat up some. Please let them have a speedy recovery and hope this does not stop them from getting back on the road on any type machine they feel safe with. But lets not condem the Spyder or the driver operation untill some investigation goes...
