• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone besides me slowing down to Prolong Rides?

Anyone besides me find yourself slowing down the last 20 or so miles just to extend your riding time?

Alignment time - got a Surprise on the bill!

I bought my 2024 F3S from Louisiana Power Sports in Bossier City LA. After 2700 miles, I noticed that the handlebar was between 3 & 5 deg. off when going straight. The left bar would be ahead of the right. Perhaps I was just unaware of the offset or, I had hit a pothole, and it shifted. (I don't...

My very old Garmin GPS is not usable in sunlight, will newer ones work better?

The U bolt that came with my XT 2 would not fit over the handlebar. I went to Home Depot and bought on that would fit, sprayed some plastic dip on it, and it works fine.

So, how fast can a spyder go and safely make a sharp right turn at an intersection?

I am also fairly new to the Spyder World . So far I have had no problems with 99 % of the off ramps or turns . There is one 270 that I will not take over 45 mph. All others I have been on , there is no problem at 55 -60 mph. So, without knowing the " tightness " of the ramp or the speed at...

What do you think of the 'New for 2025 - Spyder Canyon'?

It will be interesting to see if the "belt guard" could be adapted to the current model F3S.

Looking for a male connector to fit this? Need to charge GPS!

I currently have my ZUMO XT GPS connected direct to the battery. In this configuration, it will not charge the GPS. In looking for an answer, I opened one of the round plugs by the ignition switch. Lo and behold, there is a 4-contact plug in there. The left two outlets indicate 12 volts with the...

Doing an Oil change on my 2023 RT - how much oil?

The oil change kit I got from my dealer (a BRP kit) contained 5.5 Qt of oil. Since I only have car ramps to lift the bike, it was slightly tilted toward the rear. I assumed that there would be a slight amount of oil left in there, so when adding, I only put in one pint (approx) of the 1 Qt...

Is it worthwhile getting an Oil analysis on the first oil change?

Gots ma a question for y'all. I am going to do my first oil change on the new F3-S. Since there will most likely be excess metals as this is the first, will it be worthwhile to send an oil sample in for analysis?

Any problems connecting GPS direct to battery?

Thank you, Thank you. That is what I was looking for. I will leave the wires full length, add the fuse and just turn the GPS on and off as needed. Perhaps at some future date, I will run across someone with more knowledge than I have (that would not be very difficult) and he or she could show me...

Any problems connecting GPS direct to battery?

Once again. I really do appreciate the responses, HOWEVER, I would really like an answer to my original question. I have looked in the front and under the side panel. No wires in the front compare to the Pic in the book. The side panel wires are in a wrapped bundle and I don't want to mess with...

Any problems connecting GPS direct to battery?

Looking at my guide, it shows all three aux wires. All of them are black arrows pointing in the general vicinity of a "greyed out" pic of the location. I am a basic oil change tire change person. NOT in any way electrical inclined. Just looking for the easiest route. However, I do thank you...

Any problems connecting GPS direct to battery?

When hooking up a GPS, would there be any problems with a direct to battery hook up? All I can think of would be the need to ensure I turn it off when not using it to save battery life. Am I correct in my thinking?

    Apple Car Play Compensation

Got the letter from BRP today. Since a non BRP extended warranty can be had for 3 years for just a bit more than the $500, I am going for a Bluetooth com sys (I believe it will pair with my Garmin Zumo XT-2 and an oil change kit. I am sure that at some point, they will fix the bugs and ACP will...
