• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No luck Selling Spyder - should I part it out?

Yes, when I first bought my Spyder, I thought the bike might have a decent resale value when I decided to sell it. I did buy it right though, I only paid $10,000 cash for it with 587 miles on it in 2010, and rode it home from Las Vegas to Spokane, Wa. in the middle of February. Did get a little...

No luck Selling Spyder - should I part it out?

For all the replies I've had on my thread, there has been a lot of negative reaction to the skull and bones wrap. That's ok, I respect other peoples thoughts about it. What's so odd about it though, is that where ever I go, that is the one thing about the bike that other people like the most...

No luck Selling Spyder - should I part it out?

Yeah, figured I would get some reaction from some of the conservative crowd out there on the wrap job. That can be removed in a matter of minutes for those that don't know that. The reason I'm selling it is to help finance a new business venture. I have way too many toys and this is the one I...

No luck Selling Spyder - should I part it out?

I have a question for all you out there. I've been trying to sell my Spyder for about the last 6 months now and advertised it in my local Wheels Deals, craiglist, newspaper classifieds, and on here with no luck. I've had more offers to sell it in pieces and am starting to consider it. I hate to...

    Buying a used Spyder

I understand your concerns, but it's like anything, if you don't maintain with regular service and ride it hard any bike will have issues down the line. I happen to have a 08 for sale on this site right now and I have never had a major issue. I have always serviced it religiously and ride it...

    Highway pegs for RS

I made a set for my RS. Not hard to do, didn't even have to take a panel off to install. I mounted mine to the frame using a 34 inch piece of one inch hollow steel bar. Enclosed are what mine look like. Maybe have about $20 and about 3 hrs of work. If you want more detail, let me know.

    Homemade air filter kit

I was actually the mastermind behind this mounting base. I took a template to the machinist and said this is what I want. The price he quoted me was actually quite low because he did'nt realize how much time was going to be into cutting this. He had to let me have it for that cost but he told me...

    Homemade air filter kit

Thanks for all your compliments on my air filter. I'll get around to answering some of your questions a little later. I value all information I receive here and maybe I should have clarified what exactly the kind of mods I have. I'm running a HMF exhaust with a juice box. And giving more airflow...

    Homemade air filter kit

Nope, farmed it out. Paid extra to get a cleaner cut and make it look better. Could have had a rougher edge for half the cost but I like things just right.

    Homemade air filter kit

I decided to design my own air filter setup after not getting any satisfaction from one of our vendors on this site. After 14 days of non communication from this company,I cancelled my order and took it upon myself to make my own. I've tried researching the forums and didn't find anything on...

    Anti Freeze Leak

Antifreeze Leak possibility I had something like that happen to me also. Try as I might, I could not find out where it was coming from. One Spyderlover said to check the weep hole on the water pump. Low and behold, that's where it was coming from. Dealer said that this happens when the bike...

    Riser install question

When I bought my Spyder, the owner said he installed a F1 windshield. I'm looking at installing a set of Street Magic Easy Risers and noticed I might have a clearance problem. Called ISCI that sell them and they said they didn't know if I was going to have a problem so they suggested I put this...

    Missing plug?

While I have my spyder torn down and waiting for parts to arrive, I've been looking things over real good for things that might need attention. I found this female 2 prong L shaped plug with nothing going to it. Any thoughts out there what this might be for? It's located on the left side just...

    Spark Plug Change at 12K?

I agree with "boborgera" about replacing the "Y" gaskets. Replaced mine at 7500 miles and they did not look good. Might want to also think about replacing your wires and plugs with "Bajarons". Thought mine was running good but pulled the plugs just to check them and they also did'nt look that...

    Is Evoluzione still in business?

Tried going to their web site and get nothing. Are they still in business? Was looking to purchase their O2 modifier. Is there anyone else out there selling these? I'm also considering purchasing a Juice box. Do I need the O2 modifier along with the juice box or can I use the original sensor...

    Spyder trouble free until now

Update on antifreeze leak AMTJIM gets the gold star today for his knowledge of where to look for my antifreeze leak. It was coming from the weep hole. Not alot but a drop every half hour or so. Had to use a small mirror to be able to see the leak. Will have to wait till tuesday to talk to the...

    Spyder trouble free until now

Walked out to the garage today and noticed a few drops of antifreeze on the floor under the Spyder. So started to take the skin off thinking it was a loose hose clamp or having to replace one of the substandard clamps they put on at the factory. All the clamps and hoses looked good so got the...

    East side of state Spyders?

I see that most of the Spyders are on the west side of the state. How many of us are on the east side of the state around Spokane and Idaho? I have seen a few more running around. When I'm riding the Spyder, I don't see any but when I ride my Harley, that's when I see them. Wouldn't you know it...

    Still no DPS

Just about given up on this recall Up here in the Eastern part of Wa. state, our dealer doesn't sell that many Spyders and only gets one DPS unit at a time. I asked to be put on a waiting list and was told they're not using a waiting list. When I asked when he thought I could get mine changed...
