• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2 wheeler sayings don't apply to Rykers - we need 3 wheeler sayings!

My variation on that answer has always been, "Sweat washes off. Road rash doesn't!" Later, EV

    Winterize? Or leave it be?

+1 to all the advice of fuel stabilizer, battery tender, cover it and let it sit. Only thing I'd add is jack it up if you can to avoid tire flat spots. If not, fill up your tires to higher pressure to minimize that flat-spotting. Later, EV

Anyone ever trailer a Ryker AND a motorcycle at the same time?

Hmmm, 16 footer. That's a long trailer. So, you had the two in tandem, right? I was thinking of a shorter trailer and going side-by-side (or at least front wheel of motorcycle next to rear wheel of Ryker. Anyone ever try like that (or close to)? Thanks, EV

Anyone ever trailer a Ryker AND a motorcycle at the same time?

Hey all, just got a new SUV with a trailering package, and that's sending me down thoughts of longer road trips while bringing along my motorcycle and/or our Ryker. I keep thinking that to carry both, you'd need a full-floor flatbed trailer with a full width ramp. Also pondering how you'd...

Fitting '19 Max Mount to '22 Ryker - what am I missing?

When I installed my Passenger Seat footpegs on my '22 Sport, I had issue fitting the spacer on one side into the appropriate gap on the max mount. So, the casting doesn't seem to be that dimensionally stable. I'm with Peter.... seems to be not the best QC on this part. Later, EV

My Mods to Boomer are coming alone like I want it to look!

Great job carrying the yellow to the back end. I see so many of these wrap or accent kits that just...stop at the max mount/swing arm/rear wheel. Well done! Later, EV

..EMERGENCY .. for 2022 RYKER owners - recall on Handle-bar bolts!

..EMERGENCY .. for 2022 RYKER owners - recall on Handle-bar bolts!

Didn't have the original bolt to compare to. We were at the service desk and he had a handful of the replacements in their little plastic baggies sitting there. Bag was marked with a Can-Am logo, part number and price ($2.95!), but nothing about length. Later, EV P.S. Have met and chatted...

..EMERGENCY .. for 2022 RYKER owners - recall on Handle-bar bolts!

When I picked mine up yesterday, the service guy showed me a replacement bolt. The little baggie didn't say what the length was, but the head of the new bolt was definitely marked grade 8.8. Later, EV

..EMERGENCY .. for 2022 RYKER owners - recall on Handle-bar bolts!

No OEM would skip torque controls to meet a schedule. That's just asking for a lawsuit. Besides, BRP doesn't run this bolt down themselves. It's part of the Pre-Deilvery Inspection/Assembly that's performed by the dealer. Bolt rundown is at 2:50 of this PDI video; Later, EV

..EMERGENCY .. for 2022 RYKER owners - recall on Handle-bar bolts!

Ouch. I already got the call from my dealer that mine is fixed, so it sure seems to be hit-or-miss on which dealers got parts and which didn't. Maybe try another dealer? Later, EV

..EMERGENCY .. for 2022 RYKER owners - recall on Handle-bar bolts!

Looking through the recall details, it looks like an infant mortality problem (if it's going to fail, it's going to fail quickly). Main force that would shear a bolt like that is a really heavy steering input. Since there's no reimbursement for towing, I decided to just be gentle and ride it...

..EMERGENCY .. for 2022 RYKER owners - recall on Handle-bar bolts!

Thanks for the heads-up guys. Just talked to my dealer and need to get mine over there ASAP. They have 10 replacement bolts, and four are already spoken for. Said no appointments, just first-come-first serve.... Later, EV

Who's Wrapped Their Can-Am Ryker Bikes?

Well, the missus finally decided on a color for her Ryker, so we just pulled the trigger and ordered a full kit from Ryker Wraps I had a few questions, and just called the phone number on their website. Talked to Mike, who answered all of my questions easily and fully. He even gave a few...

Have any other New Ryker owners seen this damage?

That looks to me that it was likely caused by the tech when they were un-crating/prepping your Ryker. The front fascia comes disassembled from the front end, and is installed at the dealership during the prep process. Watch at the 3:47 mark... Definitely stick to your guns and have your...

Can't quite decide between Spyder and Ryker

Well, the Ryker is 82hp pushing 642lb, for a power-to-weight ratio of 1hp for every 7.8lb. Base Spyder F3 is 115hp pushing 899lb, for a power-to-weight ratio of.....1hp per every 7.8lb So, identical. However, Ryker 900 is only 58 ft-lb of torque, while the Spyder is 96 ft-lb. That's likely...

Can't quite decide between Spyder and Ryker

I'm in the middle of my 3-wheel class right now, wherein I am riding a Ryker 900 and a Spyder F3T back-to-back. I'd basically compare them like a sports car vs. a lux/sport sedan. The Ryker is definitely the smaller, more "playful" of the two. You sit a bit lower, and it just feels more...
