• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Interesting Tidbit

On the subject of marine HP. If a boat is rated at say 150 hp, and your main power is 150 hp and you use a smaller 10 hp trowler your over rated and breaking the law, not to mention your insurance.

    RT Delivery Update

Seems strange to me that some of the southern dealers still haven't received their RT demo unit yet, when some northern dealerships had them for a couple weeks now............:dontknow: I doubt there's many riders here in the north would look forward to taking one for a ride in zero degree...

    RT5 Survey

I agree, but I also have to add, the Spyder isn't the only unit having serious issues. Example: The Goldwing, how many years has that been in production? After all those years, it should be flawless by now, for $20,000 +

Putting a RT Test Ride on the back Burner

I had intensions on going for a test ride yet this year, but now it looks like to wouldn't be until spring, (unless I can find a dealer that will let me take a test ride in the snow.) This is what my back yard looked like today......A early Happy Hoildays BTW.......Y'all southern riders...

    600 mile service

I think even tho some here do their own wrenching, I still think it's important to keep in touch with the "back room" of your dealership. Hence my posting here on talking to a RT wrench some time back: http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15699

    I love my Spyder but...

That amount of powder snow is unusual around the midwest. Very seldom to we get snow that completely covers the pines trees like that, unless maybe in the upper UP of Michigan. With that amount of powder, it's easy to bury your machine like that. That video had to be filmed in the high...

    RT in Eastern MA

Wait until everyone sinks their money in a 2010 RT-S, the BRP will come out with a larger engine next year for the RT-S. :gaah:

    RT Sales versus Service

With all the talk about taking the new RT for a test ride, and discussions on likes and dislikes, here's a question that begs to be answered, when planning on investing in a new Spyder RT. When considering a purchase on the new RT, what is more important to you from a BRP dealership, the...

    Sale/Discount Question

When a cycle retail dealership sells at a discount, are they cutting their profit, or does that reduce price come from the manufacture??? Just Curious

    Extended Warranty

Sorry if this was covered in the past, but with all the expensive parts and service that comes with the RT's, is there a extended warranty offered for the RT from BRP, and what is a fair price and for how long??

    NEW SOFTWARE UPDATE ALREADY!!

When I talk to my RT wrench the other day, he said there are 3 main computers on the RT's. If there's trouble down the road, warranty or not, the easy fix for BRP would be to pull and replace the correct computer, not cheap I sure....... Maybe LaMonster can verify this.

    RT A & C

If I made a sale on a $20,000 plus RT, I would be "pleasure to deal with also." Congratulations any way, and happy riding.

    RT Talk with a Wrench

Ok........ not to get to far off the subject of my post here but here's what's holding me up if I decide to buy a RT. First .....I wouldn't pay premium $$$$ for something that "demand determines price". The RT is new, and the dealers will be asking top dollars. Second...... I ride a...
