• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyderpops bumpskid vs Rivco bumper and skid plates

I went with the SpyderPops. The RIVCO must be new. The SP fit perfectly. Raise the Spyder up good so you can get under there. My wife actually put it on for me as I cant get down low anymore. She did fine....looks good too.

Opinions on a 2013 ST Limited

I have a 2014 ST and love it. No issues at all. I came from a Honda ST1300 and a M109R 1800 cruiser. Getting older and wanted something more stable. I loved 2 wheels but also love 3 and do not regret my purchase. At that price I say go for it !

    towing 3 wheels down

Like Bob said, get a 6'x10' enclosed trailer with a rear load door-ramp. You can put some shelves in there for more of your camping/travel gear too. I got a real nice one for $3,200.00 new.

    No Mechanics 4 Spyders

You need to send an email to BRP....they need to know what bad service some of these Dealers provide. It makes the entire product experience feel bad. :banghead:

How do I lift my Spyder?

I just leave it..... have not experienced flat spots, I dont think there is that much weight on the tires. I have a show car....much heavier and it does get flat spots. There are flat stop preventers (a ramp cut out for the tire) for cars....not sure the Spyder being so low to the ground...

    Highway

No way to avoid the wind....happens on any bike with a lot of body panels. I had a Honda ST1300....lots of plastic panels. Sideways wind was murder. Just prior to the Golden Gate at about 45mph, I got hit by a side wind so sudden and hard it shoved me off the road into the grass median. I...

How do I lift my Spyder?

I and many have one of these. You can get it at Harbor Freight. They are often on sale and they let me use the 20% off coupon on mine. A little spendy (under $200) but you are lifting an expensive machine. Craftsman sells one, a clone of this one, different color. If you search this...

Question on rental storage unit sizes...

Former LEO: Get a good lock for the unit and do whatever you can to lock up the SPyder even more....wheel locks, heavy cable and cable through all the wheels....whatever. These rental units are burglarized A LOT ! They may not break into yours, they will break into a unit and then tunnel...

    An interesting LED safety idea

Red or of course blue strobe lights will get most of us in trouble. I have had an idea for sometime to have LED white strobe lights not only on the front but on both sides of a bike....warn people you are coming and also when going through intersections...both high crash zones. Just dont...

    Super Clamp Spyder Is Discontinued.

I liked the design and like you said, easy on easy off. That is what the mfg told me...too many of their supplies come in from US add on tarrifs and duty, most of the sales went to the US and the dollar exchange rate killed any profit. They just could not make them anymore and realize a profit...

    New Antenna from Spyderpops

I am wondering this also. Do you have to remove the tuperware, get to the backside of the tuperware to remove nut and rewire/re-plug. Or can it all be done from the outside as with some of the other antenna replacements ? Will this work to replace the long whip antennas like on my...

    Swivel Wheel Spyder Hauler.

On the first one the SwivelWheel; I have wheels just like that on some farm equipment. The problem with that design is that lets say you were driving forward and then go in reverse...there can be some fairly violent shaking due to how that wheel assembly switches direction. They can also...

    Super Clamp Spyder Is Discontinued.

The Company just called me....they got 6 back from a dealer. One gone, mine is on the way. At this moment they have 4 new in the box left. When they are gone, they are gone. I only put this here as a courtesy. You will need to go to Superclamps web site. Do not order off the site. Call...
