• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    corbin seat install problem?

had to extend the front pin by 1/4" or so to get to latch. Tightened up the bolts, put the plastics back on. Needed to extend the pin a bit more. To get it to fit with the plastics on, I had to work the leather around the top plastic. photo below. anybody else have similar issue?

    corbin seat install problem?

decided to take the front plastic off to investigate a bit further - it still won't latch down. It seems to me as though the bumpers under the seat are not allowing it to go down far enough to latch (in addition there may still be a problem with fit with the plastics)

    corbin seat install problem?

Anyone had a problem installing their corbin seat? Even with the bolts loose and the seat pushed all the way back, I can't get it to drop past the plastic up front. (which means that I can't get the pin to drop in) Video here...

CHAD install help needed... alignment problem?

Thanks! Bending the bottom tabs out a bit (made them slightly less bent) allowed me to get the bottom screws in first, and then the top screws were able to go in and was then able to work them all in. (hoping the rest goes more smoothly!)

Has anyone seen this? Just got my CHAD today - tried mounting the main bracket - top screws in and bottom screws don't line up with the inserts on the bike. Any ideas? thoughts?

First long ride 365 miles in 13.5 hours

Heh, considering I had less than 300 miles on the spyder when I started, it was a big day for me! Had a few stops along the way.... 3 hours for concert, at least an hour for dinner and watching a bit of the cubs game at buddies house.

First long ride 365 miles in 13.5 hours

Went on a great ride yesterday - rode with some friends throughout northern IL, found some great baked cod near starved rock state park, got pulled over twice within 10 minutes at the park for license and insurance card check - finished the night with a visit to the ampitheater in tinley park...

For the Spyder fire that was in Illinois, BRP sent a representative to investigate - I hope that the dealer for the fire that started this topic reaches out to BRP as well.

    Spyder on FIRE

A third. I don't have any specific information, but there was at least one other spyder that burned to the ground recently. I had seen a reference to it on craigslist (the post is now expired) - it was at rock cut state park in northern Illinois. I asked the dealer that sold it about it last...
