• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I'm a little skeptical

Thanks everyone for confirming my suspicions. I'm headed there now. If they stand firm and soak me I'll be happy to share the Dealer's name so folks in my area can be aware. Much appreciated.

    I'm a little skeptical

Had my 2013 RSS SE5 in the shop to replace the ball joints as things were getting a little sloppy. Had them do them all just cause I didn't want to have to revisit. Got a call later and dealer let me know (with a hesitation in his voice) that my A arm bushings needed replacing as well. From...

Can't fix stupid... Need some help with adjusting 2013 RSS headlights please

Thanks for that. Very much appreciated. Screwed the right one clockwise too far. Any suggestions? (other than let someone with more sense work on my bike?)

Can't fix stupid... Need some help with adjusting 2013 RSS headlights please

Ok, it seemed to be a fairly simple task ... adjusting the headlights. Evidently I'm missing a key piece of information. Which way do you do you turn the adjustment screw to make the headlights go down? I found this thread...

2013 Spyder RS SE5 - any bar raisers available?

I have an RSS SE5 and swapped to the ST bars after my 1st road trip. Had to cut a few zip ties and tug on the cables a bit. Much more comfortable riding position.

Need help removing Multifunction Gauge Cluster on 2013 RSS

You were on the money. No extra tabs or anything on the newer model. Just the two up top. Thanks very much for the post as it gave me enough confidence to go ahead and make the attempt.

Need help removing Multifunction Gauge Cluster on 2013 RSS

Has anyone had any experience with removing the gauge assembly on a 2013 RSS? There are two tabs you can push in at the top and the top tips out easily but the bottom still acts like it's attached. I'm installing the new amber blinker kit from Tricled and they're telling me I need to tie into...

    Lets talk intercom headsets....

I have a set and my wife's came apart on the Spyderfest trip. Mine is still intact. I think if care is exercised it should last a awhile. I had purchased a scala set initially but I couldn't get it to pair up, the controls were too complicated and even though I had the speakers maxed out I...

    2013 RS exhaust question

Not trying to hijack the thread but I'm curious about the bypass kit your referring to. Is there a link or website you can refer me to?

    2013 RS exhaust question

Just a word of caution: Although the Akrapovic is somewhat smaller and a lot lighter..... if you're into loud pipes this one may not be for you. I installed on my 2013 RSS and although it's a lot better sounding than stock it's still pretty quiet. We pulled the baffles and it sounds much much...

    2008 rs exhaust

I had GS2009 that had similar issue. Bike would run fine until I slowed down and then it started running rough like it was choking. Kicked down for a PCV and autotune and still had issues. Someone on this forum suggested trying the evap canister delete (Lamonster has a how to video posted). Very...

    Please Help Me

Just traded in my gs 2009 se5 with 30k for a 2013 rss se5 as I couldn't trust it. I would have had a lot more miles on the bike but it spent a 3rd of time in the shop. Some folks didn't have any trouble at all with the 1st gen machines but others have had plenty. I chose a new payment over...

    Oil Issues

Assuming the bike has the 4.5 qts in it and it's level Rather than start another oil thread I thought I'd piggy back on this one. Apologies to everyone if this already has been answered but I really did take the time to search but came up empty. (My incompetence knows no bounds) How much oil...

RS- adding a coolant fan switch

RS- adding a coolant fan switch

David, more info on another thread. http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?42768-Ovreheated-Went-into-Limp-Mode&p=499715#post499715 Took a hot wire off the headlight to a switch, out the switch into the relay, 86. 85 went to earth. Positive Battery went to 30 (with a fuse link in...

RS- adding a coolant fan switch

I can't speak for everyone but.... I live in Houston and I've a GS2009 that would go into limp in summer traffic or dump antifreeze all over the garage once I got it home. Fan, relays all worked as designed, fluids @ prescribed levels etc.... etc..... Once it got heat soaked the fan couldn't...
