• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where's the Light Sensor for day/night on 2016 F3T dash?

Can someone tell me where the light sensor that controls the day/night display of the dashboard resides on a 2016 F3T? I like the nighttime display much better and can read it much more easily, even in daylight, so I would like to tape it over if possible to keep the display in night mode. Can...

My wife has asked: "Are any other Spyder models as "cruiser-ish" in feel/ergonomics as the F3?" I sure don't know the answer. Can anyone help out here?

    Help with Can Am codes P2279 /// P0106 ??

According to the shop manual for my 2016 F3T, P0107 means "manifold air pressure not plausible" (vacuum leak somewhere, likely enough) and P2279 indicates "important leak in the air intake system," so pretty much the same issue.

Welcome back, man! As a newbie to these devices I have found both the site and Lamonster Garage to be indispensable resources. Be well!

    This Is Too Weird!

Not worried, merely puzzled. On rereading I see the sticker has a California government reference (www.P65Warnings.ca.gov), which explains a lot all by itself. :banghead:

    This Is Too Weird!

So as a Christmas present I was given a Lamonster frame mounted water bottle (which I had strongly hinted for). And as I was examining the various components -- some assembly required -- I spotted a sticker, on the bottle holder itself, which said (in four languages, here paraphrased) "Warning...

    User Power Connectors

BRP provides a couple of power connectors for the use of the vehicle owner; on my 2016 F3-T one is located under the left side cover, and another under the passenger seat. Does anyone know whether these are wired robustly enough to accept the connector for heated gear? And are they fused in...

    I know its me but......

I have had much the same set of issues as the OP here (and indeed, it gets better and better with every mile I ride), and I notice one odd thing: if I am following some other vehicle - a car or truck - and concentrating more on keeping my distance from it, I hardly notice curves which would give...

    touring

It really depends. If you plan on riding in the Denver area, then maybe you'd rather suffer the boredom of the slab in order to get there faster. (I did that on a trip from upstate NY to Baton Rouge.) But if you have something else to do in Denver--like visiting a relative, say--then maybe...

    The Elephant in My Room

FWIW, not all motorcycle dealers are reluctant to touch Spyders. The dealership here in upstate New York with which I have been doing business for years and years, through a dozen or more Suzukis, Kawasakis, and Hondas, is perfectly willing to do "non-specialized" work on my Spyder, and I only...

I'm not familiar with the Tri-Axis bars that can go on RTs, but has anyone heard whether they could somehow be used on F3s?

    F3 Bajaron Swaybar Install

I feel that way exactly, Baron. Just got my BajaRon bar on, after 1000 miles with the stock bar, and my F3-T feels like a whole new machine. Holy s#it! You have to ask yourself why BRP doesn't put something like this on at the factory.
