• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Rear Shock

Had to bring my RT-S to the dealers' yesterday, as the rear shock has gone. Only 750 miles on it, and svc. manager tells me this morning shock is back ordered at BRP, and probably won't be in for a couple of weeks. I noticed that when I was getting on and off, that it did have the pogo stick...

Motorcycle license NOT required in Quebec

This is great, as long as they don't plan on leaving the province. Just as a driver in California can drive a Spyder with an auto license, but can't leave the state. But it may encourage them to go for a proper M/C license.

Wiring Harness Against Sharp Fuel Tank Edge

Mine looked quite similar, but the wire was touching the plastic strip in both places. I wonder why this harness is so long on everyone's Spyder? http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/album.php?albumid=620&pictureid=7422

Show your RT PE seat number

That sticker is to put on a trailer. It does have the RT-622 (trailer designation) and the PE# of your RT-S. It's like the lock cylinder, just in case you get the trailer.

Bad news on my PE RT-S PE #039

When you said that it's missing the vent grill, were you speaking of a grill like is on the left side that looks like a honey comb? If yes, there isn't one on the right side. It does look like there should be something there, but BRP in all their wisdom think that the air flow through the...

    Assembly has started, delivered today

Well, I was there about 4 hours, and he hadn't finished putting it back together yet. It was about 80% done when I left the dealership. No, I didn't op for the GPS, as I've got a few already that I'll use somehow. The pictures I took yesterday are in my album now. The link is in my original post.

Yup, there she be, still in the packing crate in the middle of the back parking lot. So I go inside, talk to the service manager, and within a half hour, the...

    RT-S Premier vs non Premier

When I ordered my RT-S PE, I wanted it in Blue, but my dealer says his BRP Rep., told him it was only available in Black. I really wanted the Blue one, because I live on a dirt road a half mile off the blacktop, and I can see myself in a never ending dusting ritual when I leave my home.

    More RT tech stuff

This might seem an odd question, but what might happen if you're cruising down the road, and should hit the parking brake button by accident. Or is there an overide built in if the Spyder is still in motion that would keep it from operating?

    RT Deposit!!!- 64-RT-S & 23- Trailers

Placed my order today for a RT-S PE. Originally wanted a blue one, but was told the PE only available in black. The reason for the blue is, I live on a dirt road, and that means dust, dust and more dust. Well, I guess I in for some dusting on the black. I think I'm the first from PA.:ohyea:

Need Pictures of GIVI Cases with/answers

I have the GIVI V35 bags, and the IND7 racks from NMN, and while installing a 12V outlet on the dash(?) next to the instrument cluster, had to remove the left rear body panel. Yes, I had to remove the rack to get the panel off. As I wanted the outlet to be switched, and the switched accessories...
