• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Liquid Performance Ethanol Equilizer

It's very possible that the race fuel your dealer is putting in does not have ethanol. Using fuel without ethanol will allow a dealer to set up a bike / trike and have it all prepped for delivery. Using non ethanol fuel gives them some security that they will not have to worry about the fuel...

    Any recalls?

You can either call your dealer and give them your VIN to check, or you just go to Can-Am's website and use there VIN lookup to see if there are any open recalls on your particular Ryker or even a Spyder for that matter. Some dealer websites have a VIN check as well.

    Is it legal

I am a OEM dealer for many companies in the outdoor power equipment world. For instance I am a Briggs And Stratton authorized dealer per my contract with them (B&S) I can not refuse to do warranty work because such engine / equipment was purchased somewhere else. Also they do not like if we...

    What should I get?

I would test drive them both, I would find a dealer that has both to drive, drive one then the other, and repeat that procedure a second time, then make a decision based upon what the ride says. There is always reasons why some stuff is more expensive, as they say sometimes you get what...

Rosenau Powersports -Detroit extremely high fees

I would suggest to have them break down what all the extra charges are exactly. Then you could really tell if they are a bit steep or not. I am sure they could tell you exactly what and how much each charge is for. Every dealer around me advertises a price, but the actual price when you go...

    Rykers Require 87 Octane - Not 92!

What I was getting at with "street talk" was the phrase "E-free" in Wisconsin we also have 87 without ethanol (E-free 87), but on the pump it will say contains no ethanol, not E-free.

    Rykers Require 87 Octane - Not 92!

I believe you have E10 fuel from what you are explaining, which is 10% ethanol. If you had E-free it would not state that it contains no more than 10% ethyl (ethanol) I think the statement E-free is just "street" talk I have never seen it on a pump in Wisconsin even in the areas (counties)...

    Rykers Require 87 Octane - Not 92!

    E10 = 10% Ethanol E15 = 15% Ethanol E85 = 85% Ethanol E-Free = 0% Ethanol

Anyone done a front wheel Tire rotation?

Nope, never have. I would not recommend rotating the back with the front though :roflblack: not sure if people are swapping fronts from side to side, I myself do not, and don't see a point, in doing so.

    Ryker assembly video

I wish they would have shown more detail installing the front wheels, & how they torqued the nut's. Or maybe they don't want us to see :dontknow:

    Ryker Ryde

Love the way you put that! As I still question how they consider a Slingshot a trike legally (Yes, I know it only has 3 wheels).

    Ryker assembly video

    Only in A edited video.

What would you change on the Ryker?

The styling, and riding position. Then I might consider buying one (along with a couple years in manufacturing to get the kinks out).

    Ryker assembly video

    Harley Clamping Down on Owners

I went to a Factory Honda engines service school I would say about 10 years ago for my dealership. They were talking about all the EPA stuff that is on their engines from restrictor caps on carburetors to just the EPA label that is on the engine. Honda mentioned it is the dealers...

    Wheels falling off?

I see your point (and ChicagoSpyder). I must not have caught onto the type of situation being explained (Sorry for that). I might just choose. to call AAA though sounds like your waiting either way. Maybe a plug type repair kit would make since like the one I carry on my ATV's that even has 6...
