• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Latest BRP Safety Bulletins for Shaft Replacement (2019-12) and Shaft & Sprocket Replacement (2019-13) Recalls - Jan 2025

My dealer checked my VIN and said he didn’t see a recall on that number. They have done some of these recalls on the 2019 RTs. Is this recall specific to a VIN number or any 2019 RT?

Air Hawk vs Badass seat pads - will the cheaper Badass wear as well?

My wife and I both need seat pads for our aging seats (butts) Badass pads are cheaper than Air Hawk… but I want pads that will last. So - will the cheaper Badass stand the wear and weight (I’m 215 lbs) as good as the Air Hawk? :dontknow:

What's the difference between an RT and a Sea to Sky?

I looked at a comparison sheet on Powersportstv.com for the 2022 RT Limited and the 2022 Sea to Sky. Looking down the list I saw that mechanically and structurally they are the same. RT is priced less. Looking at the pictures I couldn't tell a difference - the pictures weren't that large - so...

Price for 2021 RT - need advice

Found a 2012 RT - asking 16,500 or 15,000 cash. 7400 miles. Garage kept. Rear armrests and some LEDs on the front is all the farkles. Found on Marketplace and this is for a buddy. I looked at some on this site and it seems that 15,000 is a little high. I want to advise him well. One of our...

2009 SM5 Spyder hesitates and bogs down after Fuel fill up?..

I hate to bear bad news but my 2010 RT acted like you described. Did what was recommended by others in this thread. Had to eventually replace throttle body which was a known issue according to my dealer. But, BRP said the bike was too old to cover under warranty. Ouch! Hope the hoses cure...

    How old are you?

Just turned 73 on June 22. I had a great compliment - I was chatting with a young couple at a biker rally and we were guessing ages - I guessed she was 32 and she was 45. He was 30. I said, "How old do you think I am?" She looked me in the face and said, "56." I replied, "Nope - I'm 73."...

An update on Lamont - Jan '22 update post #139

Hi Joan - I read the lyrics to Pass It On by Bob Marley and these lyrics were important for all us - "Be not selfish in your doings Pass it on (pass it on, children) Help your brothers (help them) in their needs Pass it on Live for yourself and you will live in vain (Luke 12:20-21) Live for...

    Shocks OR Swaybar

All good information and I thank you all. Limited income for me makes me want to choose the swaybar for now. Save up, get the tires or shocks... eventually all three. Roads her in Northern Indiana and most places I ride are pretty decent. They do grade the unpaved roads as well... but they...

    Shocks OR Swaybar

2019 RTL, 350 pounds of people on the byke, seems to "dive" into corners. If I can only afford one, should I consider shocks or swaybar? If you recommend shocks, what kind? The swaybar I know about. Thanks - Jim

Limp Home Mode... what would've caused this?

Thanks for the tips - the issue has not reoccurred. I could have had my size 13 boot somehow riding that brake pedal. I did it with my 2010 one time and didn't realize what was happening until a friend told me that my brake light stayed on a long time after we left a stop sign. That was me...

Limp Home Mode... what would've caused this?

...showed up on 2019 RTL while doing 75-80 on highway pulling camping trailer. Engine light had flashed, no overheating indication, no other lights. Slowed, pulled over, turned off RT, checked oil (OK), restarted and got off at first exit. Limp Home didn't show on restart. Checked Fault Codes...

Need to Wire 2019 RT to 5-pin flat for Bushtec camper?

I am new to the 2019 RT coming from a 2010 RT. My 2010 was wired by a dealer with a 5-pin flat to match my Bushtec camper. There is a square wiring plug on the RT that I assume is for a Can Am trailer. My Bushtec camper has a 5-pin flat on it. How can I connect the 4-pin square to the 5-pin...
