• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    It's Official

I sure hope that her plan to return to run Indy is just her wild imagination. Her leaving Indycar for Nascar was the best thing in open wheel racing in decades. Best moment in Danica's Indycar career was Milka Duno slapping her across the face with a shop rag. Twice. Good...

    HD owners educate me

The blipping when letting out the clutch on older bikes (all of them, not just HD) did indeed clear the carb a bit so it wouldn't stall. Totally unnecessary these days. But, I have a buddy who does it from every stop on his 17 HD FLQRPLSMFT. I have a great time asking him when HD is finally...

    3rd brake light

Personally, I REALLY like the look of the Custom Dynamics light, it looks like it's factory. It's very bright, and with a flasher module added it really grabs people's attention (assuming they're not staring at the phone in their lap). Installation would likely be about the same either way...

How many of us are still riding two wheel motorcyles?

I still have and ride my 2008 Victory Vision (see avatar). Bought the RT because the wife "would feel safer on 3 wheels", so it's the 2-up ride. Solo, I'm on the vision.

    brake light modulator causing errors!?

Yesterday I attempted to install a brake light modulator on a neighbor's 2010 RS. It's the exact same module I have on the CD third brake light on my RT. I cut the wires to the brake lights, and installed the module. When I powered the bike up, I got a DSS error, check engine light was...

so bob i have a question for you on the new bike

A bunch of years ago I ordered a new car. A few weeks after I placed the order the dealer called, he had someone really interested in my trade-in. I let them have it early, and they put me in a new loaner car. Wouldn't you know, there was a strike which affected my new car delivery date for...

    CB/auxilary speaker help

I had the same issue. I found that my GPS had a separate volume control which adjusted the output volume to the radio. Once I cranked that up, all was good.

    SIRIUS XM RADIO

No sir. I move that receiver between my RT, my Vision, 3 cars, and a home dock. On the Vision and the RT I keep a zip lock baggie for covering it while I'm riding in the rain. When parked the receiver is removed and locked in the glove box. That receiver has been rained on dozens (hundreds?)...

    SIRIUS XM RADIO

jroberts, I'm with you. Why mount the unit in the trunk and not have access to it? My Onyx receiver is on a Ram mount on the dash and the antenna is in the center of the dash. The power lead is run to the switched power for the GPS, and the output cable is run to the input in the trunk. Took a...

    WOLO vs STEBEL Horns

Stebel Nautilus is advertised at 139 db, the Wolo Bad Boy is 123.5 db. I've had both. The Stebel was to me noticeably louder, and in my opinion better quality. It's German made, where the Wolo is a Chinese copy. And you can usually find the Stebel on Amazon for $30...

    who's third brake light?

I'm running the Custom Dynamics HMT as a brake only light. I've got a programmable strobe unit on it, so it flashes, then goes solid. It looks totally factory, I don't understand why Can Am wouldn't have one just like it there as stock. I'm sure many of the other suggestions work equally well...

Does Anyone Know Anything About Stair Lifts?

I had an Ameriglide lift in my house for a number of years for my wife's mom. Worked perfectly, no issues at all. There are places on line that sell used reconditioned ones. I bought mine used from a family that no longer needed it and installed it myself. If you do that, make sure that you...

    Question about Lidlox

Like you, I don't think the fitment looks *right*, even though I know it is. I may just turn some replacement endcaps to replace the stock ones with a bevel that more closely matches the Lidlox (which is a great product, not complaining about them at all). Jim

Best Laid Plans, Hope Everyone Made It Home Safe

Okay, I give up. It seems as though this discussion is about Spyderfest. Can someone please tell me what BWCH+ means? Thanks. Jim
