• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Could you tow a motorcycle with a Spyder RT?

I would love to have one of my bikes in TN on vacation, but riding for ten hours on a sport bike is not my idea of a good time. If anything we can take the Spyder and the car from PA to TN and switch off. My husband won't go near my bikes so it's the Spyder or one of his cruisers.

Worth a try. Thanks for the info!

Could you tow a motorcycle with a Spyder RT?

What do you think? Could you tow a 400 lb sport bike behind a Spyder?

    New Member with Important Question

I own two Yamaha sport bikes and right now have a problem with my 2014 still low mile model. I put more miles our RT Spyder and have had no issues with it. Buy the RT if you want to move to three wheels. There are no better options.

Is this bike easier for women to ride?

Too funny. (I saw a bow, by the way) The husband is getting more comfortable with the Spyder now. He has taken it to work a few times.

    Long Island NY SPYDERS

We are in Melville, during the week, if anyone wants to ride and get dinner.

Is this bike easier for women to ride?

For me, it was a breeze, for him, not so much.

Is this bike easier for women to ride?

I've read a bunch of these threads and my husband and I have debated it. We both ride two wheels. When I first rode the Spyder, I had no learning curve. It was fine, on the highway, off the highway, winding roads, no problem. When he rode it, he complained about the same things that most...

    Road Test

Not a clue for three wheels. I am as curious as you are! The BRC class is fun. I do recommend it, especially if you have not been on two wheels.

    New vs Used

We bought a 2012 RT this year with 900 miles. You can go used, but I would go lower miles than what you have found and get maintenance records.

    What now??

You ride the wrong "cages" then. I have nothing left to offer you (and apparently didn't originally either). Buy the newest, lowest mile RS you can find. Wait...buy an FZ09. Just do it. Best bike on the planet. You'll get used to two wheels again. There's a world of difference between two and...

Yes. It's BS that money doesn't buy happiness :)

    What now??

Here's another suggestion. Buy a new C7 Corvette. It's more fun than my sport bikes and the Spyder. You will have a hard time getting anyone to test ride one, but go for it. Manual. I'm half debating between even riding my sport bikes anymore since the vette is so incredibly awesome. I love it.

    Bell Rogue Helmet

I have a Pit Boss that I wore when I had my Harley. I liked it. Some people complain it makes your head look huge. I haven't used it in forever and go Shoei ff now with my track pants, boots, etc.

    What now??

You gave up your sport bikes for a Spyder? I guess if I physically couldn't ride mine, I would too. Hope you are okay (I don't know your history). If I did get hurt and couldn't ride my Yamahas, I would want a sportier Spyder as an option. If you are physically able to ride but don't want to...

    Storage Suggestions If No Garage...

I'm in the same position as you now also. Originally, I moved my car out of my garage and put the Spyder there. I traded my Camaro for a much nicer car and now the Spyder is sitting outside. I was freaking the first time it got rained on, but it is what it is. We have the half cover and I'm...

    F3's are like unicorms

I've seen none of the road. Any Spyder I see is an RT.
