• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    @#%! Limp Mode

Not a great way to start the day Well Pandy, after I had what I thought were a couple check engine "hiccups" the bike finally gives up on me this morning on my way to work. I checked the code and got the exact same codes as you. I was reading some of the posts and was dreading a TB...

lets see what your music taste is like

Gotta love the metal I'm going with Bam Bam on this one. I listen to all kinds of music, but first and foremost I'm a metalhead. I get some weird looks while ryding, but I get pumped up listening to some Devildriver while pushing my RT through the twisties. ;)

    Just arrived in Maryland

Gotta agree with tip I live in Montgomery County and the taxes here can be a bit of a bear. However, Frederick County is just one county north, is equidistant to Baltimore and DC and is surrounded by sweet roads. I do most of my ryding up there. Best of luck. :D

Has anyone given their Spyder a "Name"???

April. It's the month that the previous owner, my dad, took delivery of her.

    Spyder Sightings

It's exiting to see other ryders. The only problem I have is that it's usually in passing and I wave at them like spaz.

    my dealer zucker punched me!

Power Commander may not be needed. I have a 2011 RT and had similar codes after installing the PCV. I had installed it in combination with a Two Brothers pipe and K&N filter hoping for a decent power gain. All I got was check engine codes every 150 miles. I removed the PCV and have since...

what was your first concert ?

I missed some of the great ones After reading everybody's posts, I gotta say I'm a bit envious of some of the shows I missed out on considering I wasn't even around until the mid-70s. But you never forget your first. Mine was Whitesnake with Great White on July 30, 1988. A show still...

    Belt Tensioner

Smoothspyder review I bought a Smoothspyder belt tensioner about 3 months ago and it helped a lot. I had a lot of vibration between 70-75mph, which is a pretty common highway speed here. I installed the Smoothspyder it definitely eliminated the vibration. A couple of caveats though. It was...

    Kewl Metal = class act

a week ago I ordered the Kewl Metal air cleaner assembly for my 2011 RT. I received the tracking number and was anxiously awaiting it arrival on Tuesday. Two days after the air cleaner had shipped, I got another tracking number from Kewl Metal. I thought they might have made a mistake and...

    Dreams come true

If I had $24,000 I think that is AWESOME!!! However, I think the novelty of owing one would wear off quickly. I grew up with Transformers and that it the ultimate Transformer, but the cost is a bit steep. for that money I think I'd rather buy another :spyder2: ;)

    Spyder Sightings

Spyders, spyders Everywhere!! Okay, maybe not everywhere, but I've seen a few in my travels north of D.C. Seen two, a silver RS pulling a trailer and a white RS while traveling on Maryland I-270. Saw a beautiful white RT while riding on Route 85 west of Frederick, Maryland. Got a...

I believe the RT stereo is junk, all feedback wanted.

Nothin' but sweet music I've got a 2011 RT and haven't had any issues with distortion or static. At first I didn't think it could get loud enough to hear on the highway, but I run the windshield up all the way and crank up the volume. I've never needed to exceed 3/4 volume, even at 80+mph...

    Funny three wheeler..!!

The WRONG way to do three wheels!! Ah, the Reliant Robin. The guys on Top Gear can't get enough of this thing. Apparently, it was made during the 70s as cheap transportation for miners. Since it didn't have four wheels, it was classified as a motorcycle, with and insurance rate to match...

    O2 sensor issues

I recently bought a 2011 RT SE5 with fewer than 3k miles and have had the check engine light come on on three separate occasions. the first time was just after it had spent the winter hibernating. I topped off the tank and the light came on within a couple minutes. I drove it home with the...

    BAJA RON SWAY BAR WOW!!

How do I get my RT to handle better I recently bought a used 2011 RT SE5 and so far I'm loving it. I installed the Baja Ron sway bar w/links a week ago and during my first ride I picked up the left front wheel. Admittedly, I was going way too fast (not quite used to three wheels yet), but its...

Finally Got the Nanny to Slap Me!!!

Lifting inside front wheel I don't know how smooth you need to be to lift a wheel in turns, but I did manage to do it today. I just recently bought a 2011 RT and have put about 200 miles on it. Still getting used to the extra wheel (my previous ride was a '07 DL650) and I guess I was carrying...
