• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2015 Can-Am Spyder F3s vs 2017 Harley Tri Glide Ultra

Have you had a laser alignment done on the F3? It has cured the twitchyness on a lot of Spyders.

    Hearing aids

I dropped a HA on concrete once when I was pulling off my helmet. Switched to in the ear aids when it was time to replace that set. There are some drawbacks to in the ear aids, but it may be worth considering if you are having some problems with your current set up. Bluetooth hearing aids...

    Hearing aids

I have a different setup, so my aids don't connect directly to a bluetooth device, but I do have a device for my TV and for connecting to a phone that transmits to my HA. The one issue I have, which probably also affects the bluetooth enabled ones, is that when the TV sounds are coming in...

OK lets have a nice talk about guns

I think that if there is a market for them manufacturers will provide them. I would never buy one though. I have an LG phone that uses fingerprints to unlock. You can add more than one fingerprint in the settings, but it is not 100% accurate. It stopped working for one hand and if I am in...

Question and Answer with Bruce Baker

I love the Air Wings, put them on my 2013 RT either late in 13 or early 14. Put them back on after the heat recall. The picture is the best one I have that shows the wings.

Please be gentle it's my first time!

Liked the video and while I was able to mentally accept the driving on the left side of the road, when you went through the roundabout on the "wrong" side it was a bit creepy. Makes me wonder if I would be able to get through those without incident when we go over there. Appreciated the views.

    registration cost up

I could understand going by vehicle weight if they are trying to recoup costs for wear and tear on highways. I have to admit that I am still a bit miffed for having to pay the same tolls for a Spyder and trailer that a dually pickup and a maxed out trailer pays on the NY toll roads.

    Battery life???

You would need a DC ammeter to do that and wait until everything has totally shut down before measuring.

    BRP Certification

I attended MMI in Orlando, graduated in 2014. And once again, for the brands taught there, it is "factory" training. Students in Yamaha can take the tests to qualify for Bronze and Silver while in school, certification granted once they are employed at a Yamaha dealership. People hired off...

    BRP Certification

Incorrect. I attended so I do know about the school. Students go through 36 weeks of general instruction on motorcycles; six weeks of it basic theory, 30 weeks of hands on in motors, suspension, electronics, etc. Then they take one or more brand specific hands on courses which are designed in...

    Looking for HELP!!!!!

I agree on Cody and the Buffalo Bill Museum. We were unable to ride Beartooth Pass because it was snowed in (June). Million Dollar Highway in Colorado is phenomenal as well. If you are into historical rides, part of Lincoln Highway or Route 66 is an option. Illinois has, IMHO, probably more...

    Little deceiving???

Even Harley has foreign components. And some "foreign" cars are made in the US while some so-called "American" cars are made elsewhere.

    Solo trip advice

The road side service plan is a must. I have had AAA in the past but now use an RV plan (Coach-Net). Both Coach-Net and Good Sam have their adherents, service is pretty comparable and cover all your vehicles, including motorcycles. I know that Coach-Net does unlimited towing, not sure if AAA...

First portable computer ad....what a hoot!

The Compaq was a dream compared to the first computer I operated. That one sat in an equipment rack about 5 ft tall, had two rows of buttons on top. You input the bootup instructions by punching the buttons on top, took quite a while. And data storage was on a standard audio cassette, we had...
