• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where can I find a better dipstick?

Hello all. Well, it looks like I stripped the threadings on the dipstick. I like to check my oil frequently, and it is a bummer how inconvenient this process is. I don't mind taking off the tuipperware so much, but I think that the plastic dipstick feels cheep and is hard to read. Maybe just...

    High engine temp

Hi all. Where does your engine temp needle typically pointing? For the first 1200 miles, my needle was always right at the 3 o'clock position. After a lot of condensation developed in there, I had it replaced under warranty. Ever since then, it's been pointing almost to the redline. I brought...

    Dead battery - 6V or 12V?

This might seem like a dumb question, but I left my spyder's power on accidentally last night and tonight I was greeted by a dead spyder. The dealer installed a battery tender, but I have never used it. It has two settings... 6V and 12V. I though it would be 12V, but when I set it to that...

    Suddenly Hot?

I was having moisture inside the glass of both gas and temp gauges, so I had them replaced under warranty a few days ago. On my way home, I noticed that the temperature of my engine was running hot. In fact the gauge is just below the redline. Over the past couple days I've noticed that this is...

    Cup Holders

Yea, me too. If you place it more towards the front, you can open the bags, but the holder is tipped. They should have made the angle adjustable. Still, nice little gadget. .

    cruise control system

Cruisn... I was uncomfortable with the cruise control at first, but as I become more accustomed to the Spyder, I use it more and more. I use it on roads where a constant speed is appropriate and easy. It make my ride smooth and enjoyable. I have noticed that when you tap the break, there is...
