• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I dealt with Jessika. She was always prompt and courteous. I ended up buying mine locally but had no complaints about sales persons service.

Buying my first Spyder Have some questions.

I'm trading in my 2012 RTS-SE5 that I've owned since new. It's not been a trouble free machine over the years but the issues I had were only minor. There are 2 little plastic lines on the throttle body that crack. I replaced with silicon lines. I also replaced the spark plugs and wires. Other...

Any former RT riders unhappy they moved to an F3 Ltd?

I'm trading in my 2012 RTS-SE5 that I have owned since new. I've test driven F3 Limited, F3 Limited special edition, and an RT limited. I'm still undecided what I want. When I first got my 2012 RT I didn't really like the upright riding position of the Spyder RT, I had always rode Harley's...

I doubt if this will do any good

So if they don't want us to know what a "code number" means why do they even allow us a way to read the code . There is a huge American made farm equipment company who paints much of their machinery green. In the back of the owners manual is pages and pages and pages of code numbers for you to...

Are these the correct pads for a 2014 ST-S?

I have to also recommend getting it from Baja Ron. He only sells quality products at fair prices, and you won't be disappointed in his service.

"BAD KEY" after I replaced battery

I installed a new battery in my 2012 RTS-SE5. I charged the new battery before I installed it. When I attempt to start it everything lights up like it should, but the read safety card message doesn't come up. When I push the mode button a few times the orange screen reads "BAD KEY". I tried the...

"new to the spyder" battery ?????

That says it's the correct battery for a 2012 RT but it's not. Your battery should be a size 24, not 14.

    Leftover new 2016 F3T?

I would wait a little longer, you could buy that machine cheaper than that last fall at select dealers . Can Am usually starts their discounting on leftover machines just before the new models are released.

Need Help - Idles rough then smooth + codes

You might need a needle nose pliers to pull the old hose off. If it still wont budge use a knife to slice the side of the old hose at the fitting. Use the old hose as a pattern to get the exact length when you cut the new replacement to length. It's not as difficult as it seems.

Trailer width - is 5.5 feet wide enough?

If you are talking about an open utility type trailer it should be ok. If you are talking about an enclosed trailer it may be pretty tight to strap it down and walk around it.

how much clarance is under a 2011 can-am spyder rt

I lift mine up with a motorcycle jack and put 8" wooden blocks under the tires. This is a nice working height to get a drain pan under and not be to cramped taking out the drain plugs.

A snap ring found on magenta while changing the oil

I'd keep riding and hope for the best, I'm not sure what the cost would be to disassemble the engine, but I bet it could easily be in the $1000.'s and there is still no guarantee they will find where it came from. I also hope your dealer is 100% trustworthy. Who knows for sure. Did that really...

    Spring is Coming!

I put 100 miles on the Spyder Friday and was completely comfortable. That's usually unheard of here in Minnesota in the middle of February. It was nearly 60 degrees, sunny and no wind. I drove around the lakes checking where everyone is ice fishing.
