• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Stock Seat for 2012 Spyder RT SE5

Made offer on eBay on one, got it cheaper than the shipping, but need is need. Thanks to those that responded. Not sure how to respond back to pm’s, keep getting message of not authorized to respond to other members, which I’ll find a way soon I hope.

Excited about becoming a Spyder owner!

Very nice, I too just picked up a 2012 RT SE5 yesterday. Got mine from a friend and it had 5K on it, we had bought our Spyder together in 2012 but I had sold my SM5 for another Harley. Now the Harleys gone and I’m 80 and back on the road with Can Am, hope I remember where I park it. Your gonna...

Stock Seat for 2012 Spyder RT SE5

Recently purchased a 2012 Spyder RT from a friend which due to his size had the original seat configuration altered. This friend and I had 2012 RTs but I sold mine a few years back but regretted doing so, so I’m back on the road, but the seat has got to go. Has anyone upgraded or changed seats...

    Do I or Don't I

May have gotten the answer The problems with warranty being affected makes me stay clear of doing it myself. I could most likely handle it and I did get the manuals soon after I got the bike. I'm in coastal N.E. North Carolina if someone can direct me to someone Platinum Certified. The two...

    Do I or Don't I

Still have problems with a 2012 RT SM5 after trips to two different dealerships and 7 weeks of down time and emails to BRP. My clutch resivoir on the handlebar has bled down 3 times leaving me with no pressure on the clutch lever. After refilling and working the clutch I get it back. The first...

Contacted BRP in the shop again

Very well said, been to 3 dealerships so far, all the same. Got this as an emergency vehicle to fill in for Spyder downtime.

    Time to pull the plug.

Thanks to all especially ValCruzSpyder I think ValCruzSpyder tipped the scales by nudging the dealer, got a call today and it's in the door, but just a day short. I already put my backup plan in motion. Going to Daytona tomorrow to pick up a New Harley FLHPI. BUT.....just couldn't let the...

    Time to pull the plug.

The Fortunates Those of you that have good dealerships and good service are very fortunate, and I envy you. I am still waiting for service here on my end on my last ditch effort. The Spyder was taken to a recommended dealership nearby, however it 's been nearly 3 weeks and it still sits waiting...

    Time to pull the plug.

Still waiting for a call. Dropped it off on Saturday and still waiting, but at least they took it in and didn't hang up on me. I understand its their busy time prepping and servicing 4 wheelers for the hunting season, and their original Spyder buyers have priority. Looks like a pretty efficient...

    Time to pull the plug.

Willing to give it a last ditch effort I really like the Spyder but this dealership experience really took its toll, BUT ValCruzSpyder has maybe given me a toe hold for hanging on. Gonna Call AllOut Cycles this morning. Thanks again for all the replies.

    Time to pull the plug.

Tried that too Called the closest in Virginia, they said they were very busy but I could schedule an appointment for an assessment then after they determine the problem I could schedule an appointment for the repair after the parts are received.

    Time to pull the plug.

Not gonna pull the plug, just cut the cord. Just got off the phone with the dealership, finally worked my way up to a manager. Here is her answer when I asked to speak with her father which is the owner of both businesses, "CLICK". Not the support a customer wants to hear. These are your...

    Time to pull the plug.

Love my 12RT and loved the rides and events and those that made them all possible. But dealerships and lack of service support for the vehicle has pretty well bummed me out. I truly envy those of you that are blessed with well equipped, stocked and staffed dealerships that are dedicated in...

Can't get to front fuse panel

Appreciated the one liners that got me out of my problem, that's all that was needed, short and to the point. Remembered the dealer showing me this because my Rocker switch didn't work when delivered. But today was one of those days. Guess I'll use the C4 for something else. See you all in...

Can't get to front fuse panel

Saved by people that read Thanks all, now I really feel stupid, but I learned something. What a relief, now I don't need a new trunk lid. I was almost at that point. Saved again by SpyderLovers.

Can't get to front fuse panel

Accidentally grounded a gauge wire in the dash when checking with a meter. Thought it wasn't going to be a problem....wrooong!. The fuses under the seat are fine and I'm sure it's the fwd fuses, however I have and electric hood unlatch that wont unlatch because the fuse is blown. I need a little...
