• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    F3 just stopped running

Forgot to update.....was working on a health issue. So the F3 is back home. BRP covered a new gas cap & fuel filter plus all the labor. I was told this is part of the emissions system. Running great again & the cap is totally flat to the tupperware. Loving my dealer & actually can't complain...

    F3 just stopped running

Would you believe a bad gas cap that allowed water & snow to get in the fuel when I trailed her back from NC to Buffalo. Since it's a factory defective cap we'll see what BRP does.......

My F3L was running fine then got really rough. Then it wouldn't start at all. Off to the dealer......code for bad can position sensor I think.... Is this a known/common issue? Tried to search the forums......didn't find anything......but them I'm a guy, we can't find anything!!

    Trailering

I bought a Triton GU10 for my F3 Limited. 5'6" x 10' so there's not a lot of left over room. Not worried about the open trailer idea at all. Worried about a higher quality trailer for the long 650 mile run to the Outer Banks.

    2016 F3 Limited with F4 Customs windshield

Wow!! I read your post & wondered if I wrote it myself. I skipped the Tallboy & went straight to the F4........& I'll never look back. Plan on using the OEM when towing the Spyder & questioning if I might not need the extra airflow during the summers in the Outer Banks. It'll be an interesting...

    Non ethanol in the spyder?

My take on it.... After spending a few years in the petroleum industry, I'll avoid ethanol whenever possible......but I'm not rabid about it. I've seen internal damage to gas dispensers & watch manufacturers of petroleum equipment develop special O rings that could stand up to ethanol. I've yet...

    Key won't open F3 seat

Got it!!!!!! Turning the key with a well timed thump of the fist on the rear seat did the trick.........so thankful it wasn't the cable like it was on my RT

    Key won't open F3 seat

The key opens the frunk fine.....nothing when I try the seat! I've tried pushing on it when turning the key but no luck. Any thoughts other than driving to the dealer? When this happened on my previous RT & long screwdriver got me to the latch. Any similar way with an F3?? TIA for your help......

    F3 Limited vs. RT Limited

I may be the wrong person to reply but..........I traded my RT Limited for an F3 Limited. The difference for me was sitting on top of my RT rather than sitting in my F3. They're like shoes.....try them on & see what fits. The options & bling lose their appear. The comfort & feeling to be part of...

    Trailer to haul the Spyder

I figured taking the windshield off would protect it while increasing the gas mileage :sour:

    Trailer to haul the Spyder

Tried to do my homework before I got a trailer to haul the Spyder between Western NY & the Outer Banks of NC. Ended up with a Triton GU10 which is 5.5' wide by 10' long. It's all aluminum except for the treated plywood decking. Total weight is 370lbs. Here's some pictures. I know I didn't...

    Haul my F3

The aluminum is a good thought. Will check this out. No Northern Tools near Buffalo so next time I come down........ BTW.......not down until August or September. Renting it out until then. Apex is a ways away.......daughter used to be in Holly Springs, now Fuquay-Varina. Nice 3.5 hour drive...
