• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    That certainly looks strong enough to hold well. I drilled holes through the plywood and through the joist support underneath. Then I drilled and tapped 5/16 - 24 thread and used stainless steel bolts.

    I did the same to locate where I wanted the chocks front to back. But I wanted to be sure about the side to side placement and I wanted it to be equal on each side. So it was no trouble marking it out knowing the center line of the track. I'm curious how you guys bolted the chocks down to the floor.

    I got some of those measurements earlier, but the one I was looking for was the track of the front wheels, center to center, so I'd know exactly how far apart to secure my wheel chocks in the trailer. I googled it and AI told me the distance was 54.5 inches.

    I answered my own question. I lifted the top box and sprayed silicone spray on both sides of the connection. Then I was able to twist the lock in the position. It still took a bit of effort.

    I removed the travel trunk and am having a problem securing it properly to the Spyder. I can only turn the attaching knob on the bottom of the trunk about a quarter turn, not a half turn. It was difficult to loosen and I had to use water pump pliers on the provided tool.

    Well, it took me nine months to be able to figure it out. I was photographing the odometer to determine my MPG since I couldn't access the trip odometers. A lot about that bike is not intuitive. I'm still scratching my head because of the way to engage reverse.

    Fortunately, it appears that my fuel gauge is relatively accurate, so if I keep my eye on that as I used to do on most of my bikes, I shouldn't have a problem. In the old days, we had no fuel gauge, but we did have a reserve portion of the gas tank that usually got us to the gas station.
