• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Billet Garmin Zumo Mount

After going back and forth, I finally ordered the 30996 and two of the 60003. I have the NMN 4" black risers and the ISCI handbrake, so I hope it doesn"t take any more space than 1/2". I would like to mount a couple of different items and wanted to try the 60003 as more of a permanent mount for...

    Why No Hand Brake?

As I have stated previously, I have been riding "motorized" two wheelers for over sixty years. The only reason I went to the Spyder was because of my wife. :shemademe_smilie:. I believe I have bought everything ISCI makes because of their comfort and quality, but the handbrake was a necessity as...

    BRP Updates, Hindles and Performance

I have the Bruce Fabrication exhaust, JB and ESI Green Air Filter. The JB is set to Lamonster's suggested settings at the time of the steering update. At first it would surge between 28 to 39 MPH, but as I put more miles on it, it is settling down. I think as I get more miles, this will improve...

    Proper Talisman

You cannot buy this bell yourself and put it on because it will not faze the gremlins. It has to be given to you as a gift. Very Important!!:doorag:

Any Feed Back on the ISCI Hand Brake

I have purchased every product you make for the :spyder: and as I have stated in other threads, the workmanship and design are first class. The handbrake is my favorite. I had ridden a Harley for years and it took some time to adjust to the "non lean" riding and not putting my foot down when I...

    Almost too nice

I agree. The workmanship on their products is fantastic. I weigh 250# and stand on the floorboards to get on and off the bike. They are that strong. The hand brake is also terrific. Will try and attach some pictures.

    20 days left

Sometime the best experiences, are when there is no planning at all.....:ohyea: I have toured for years with a loose plan in mind. One year we decided to just go without any destination. That was the only and last year we ever did that. I like to call it a turning point. Go any way you want and...

    Juicebox and Warranty

Have mine in the shop now with the steering recall and service. Have the JB and GF and asked them to adjust same if needed. I even made a copy of Lamont's settings with the new setting on Mode 2 and gave to them. Didn't say anything about warrenty, but never know about any problems that might...

A little heads up on the software upgrade

I am taking my Spyder in Tuesday for service maintenance, update on steering and installation of the ISCI hand brake. I have the NMN 4" risers and notice that Lamont also has what appears to be the same with a handbrake. I have their footboards on now and they will be sending me a different...

    Juice Box setting for Hindle

My mechanical ability is nil! My brother in law visiting from California installed the NMN juice box and green filter when he was visiting. I have a Bruce Fabricators exhaust. I am getting a slight hesitation when I accelerate, but when I get to a higher speed, it runs excellent. I took down...

Any negatives for the ISCI floorboards?

I have the floorboards, the parking brake, the footpegs and the passenger boards installed. The handbrake was shipped yesterday and should be here next week. I am 5' 11" but have short legs (30" inseam). As you stated, they are expensive, but in my opinion worth the money, not only for comfort...

    Steering recall feedback request

Just got my letter yesterday. Also got a call from ISCI and they are shipping the handbrake today. I am just about due for service and I am going to have the dealer install the handbrake since my mechanical aability is practically nil. Haven't had any steering problems yet, but not that many...

    Just Curious

I am a fairly new owner (January), but if I ever do sell the Spyder, which I doubt, I think I will advertise it "Pay original cost for extras and the Spyder is free"

    I installed Evoluzione's swaybar

Know what you mean. Just got the ISCI footpegs today and installed them. ISCI also made me a special spacer for my Bruce Exhaust at N/C. Great people. They look terrific. Still trying to make up my mind on the sway bar, but did increase my tire pressure as several people recommended on this forum...

    South Dakota--Black Hlls

Memiories The Rally in August is the time to be there. Went for several years and always had a great time. Lodging is almost impossible, but other than that as Lamonster stated, it is a good riding area, especially when you go with good friends.

Handbrake now available to order from ISCI

Just got thru posting that the handbrake was something I couldn't get used to doing without and dropped down and there it was. Just ordered mine! Should arrive in a couple of weeks.

    I forgot...

Normal and faster driving? The Valk wins, hands down... no contest. It's amazing to realize (after the fact) how much real work is required to "man-handle" the Spyder. Moderate to high-speed curves on two wheels are just fluid... bike and body are one. I totally agree with the above statement...

    Trunk Popping Spring

For the price and ease of installing, this is one of the best. I used to get off the bike, turn the key and reach down to open the trunk. Now all I have to do is turn the key while I am still on the bike. Don't know whose idea this was, but I take my hat off to him for coming up with this...
