• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Very little tension, it rides on the belt but doesn't look to depress the belt at all. It is there just to dampen the vibration not tension the belt.

    Hello All, I received my F3 Idler Pulley Kit (Part #219800412) today and got installed in 30 minutes. I took it for a test ride and got up to 105 mph before I had to slow down for a tee in the road, no vibration anywhere from 0 - 105. All is well:2thumbs:

    Did first service myself.

    Might want to get the belt tension checked, I just had my first service done today on my F3s and my belt was at 600n. The range for the belt as shown below is 900n to 1200n. My belt was reset to 900n as seems to be the recommended tension around the forums to prevent bearing and sprocket issues...

    It looks like we should be able to according to the thread labeled "BRP belt tensioner" in this forum. There are pictures posted there and it amounts to taking out two bolts putting the tensioner in place and putting the bolts back in.:thumbup::2excited:

    Another Seat Question

    My 2015 F3s came with a Cannonball on it so I can't compare it to the stock seat, but I have rode for seven hours in one stretch and never had any comfort issues. Oh and I am 5'8" and weigh 210 and have a bad lower back if that helps:dontknow:

    Hey Beachbum, Here is what I did with Viking bags Ultimate Saddlebag and a set of "Easy Brackets" from "Fingereze" on Ebay. I mounted them with the bottom of the bags at 21" off of the ground and the bags open fine, the top flexes a little against the hand grip but pops right back into place...

    This might be a silly question but I need to know, where are you all adjusting the front shocks to when you install these sway bars? Is the sway bar that much of an improvement over just adjusting the shocks stiffer?:dontknow:

    Not at all and I actually mounted a fork/windshield bag to mine to hold my glasses/sun glasses, wallet, cellphone.... it worked out great.:ohyea:

I really like the adjust ability of this windshield, it lets you dial it in without having to modify anything like I have had to do on bikes in the past.
