• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    15/16 Changes

Darren, The 2015 F3 rear shock has a 360# too weak spring & not stiff enough dampening on stock rear shock, so it totally bottoms out with rear shock compressing until end of shock travel is a solid hit, putting tremendous stress on 2015 F3 rear frame subsection that BRP has acknowledged cracks...

    Could use some feedback please

Your welcome, glad I could help a little. A puzzle why BRP engineers designed/put same type curved at top shield on 2016 F3T & Limited as the terrible wind noise/no protection curved one on 2015 F3. CalSci will have 2016 F3T & Limited shields available end of May after testing. Mark said shields...

    Bad smell on hard acceleration

Yes it is the F4 windshield that does NOT have a vent hole that is causing the vacuum behind shield to pull exhaust fumes up to driver!!! F4 owner Don needs a vent on all his F3 shields to break that vacuum that is drawing exhaust fumes up front to driver of F3!! Another F3 Spyder owner with F4...

    two up Finally

You need stiffer front shock springs, or Elka front shocks with stiffer 450# springs A lot of good advice already given you here. I would suggest stiffer front springs on shocks. You are correct the soft spring front shocks will not work for you on RT!! If you know a local motorcycle shop...

    2016 f3 limited windshield

CalSci testing 2016 F3T/Limited Shields, available in May 2016 Hi, CalSci is testing F3 shield for 2016 F3 T/Limited, (with mounting holes at 3 1/2" apart to fit 2016 F3T/Limited, instead of F3 holes at 5" apart like on 2015 F3 CalSci shields, and no lower mount holes). (The 2016 F3T/Limited...

    F3 Belt Tension (lbs/kg)

My 2015 F3S sitting on garage floor, drive belt is run at 180# Kricket taken from underneath middle of belt pushing up to check #, (just rear of sticker on left side swingarm). I have run 180# for past year 16,000 miles, (200# (max) Kricket for me anyway, higher # not needed on F3S Spyder). What...

    F3 questions

No not needed on 2016 F3T Hi Patti, The 2016 F3T has about the same rear swingarm as your 2014 RT, soft spring rear shock spring and air bladder (that you can add air to if you want rear to sit higher or ride a little firmer). The 2016 F3T front stock shocks are good. The stock 2016 F3T should...

2015 F3S BRP footboards angle mod

Hi Bob, Buy 2 each plastic tree felling wedges 2 1/2" wide x 5 1/2" long (Tractor Supply Co has them for $6 each). Cut wedge 2 1/2" down & across (from top of wedge), which is 1/2" thick at the cut). Remove the two 10mm bolts holding BRP footboard on, (using a 7mm allen head socket with breaker...

2015 F3S BRP footboards angle mod

I used tree felling plastic wedges cut at 3" long x 2 1/2" wide x 1/2" thick raising front of footboards. Gives a more natural/comfortable feet/ankle angle position. (my F3S BRP footboards are in # 4 position). Note: Angle mod probably works better in #4 or #5 position of F3 footboards. Enjoy. Jim
