• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I downshift manually for two reason. 1. Engine braking due to being use to a 2 wheeler. 2. To gain power if I want to accelerate on the interstate/street after slowing down a little bit.

    :agree:... That's what I did. Called BRP.. They sent me an email with a ticket #. I replied to the email with my vehicle Registration. They transferred over the warranty. Took less than 2 hours. And most of that was me scanning the registration.

    Backfire issues

    I have a 2012 RS-S with a Yoshi R-77 pipe. My does that in the morning when I begin riding it on 2-3 bars. It normally happen when I don't fully close the throttle when decelerating. I also have a K&N Air filter so I live with it.

    I'm glad that others are chiming in about the OEM 2nd Gen Backrest. It is truly the best option in my opinion. My wife loves it and said it is very comfortable and I love the quick interchangeability from 2up to solo look.
