• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ram mount cup holder, what type bands to use ?

Ram Mount Cup Holder Bands I just used what I had laying around. My holder did not come with anything either. These small bungees come in various sizes, cut them to fit whatever you will be securing. This cup holder (I got mine from Lamonster) is a great addition and very easy to install on any...

    Stupid Question?

I have a '12 RT SE5 and I may be asking a stupid question here. Is the larger engine rpm difference causing a change in shifting pattern? In other words, on the 2012 semi-automatic SE5 we "shift" at higher rpm's than the new larger engines. Is this true for standard machines as well? My thought...

    F3 Insurance Question....and hello from a new rider :)

:agree: Check with a local insurance broker. They have the ability to look at multiple vendors for you. Not only will you save on the Spyder insurance, you might find savings on other items too (i.e. home, car). However, beware of the "cheapest" coverage and read the fine print. You always get...

    Farkle time

Thanks, Bob! We're getting there. Just a few more "necessities" to add. Hard to believe it's only been a year. Feels like a lifetime already.

More pics Sorry for the background clutter, but here is the new Show Chrome driver back rest and Lamonster's ram mount cup holder. The handlebar mount below the cup is from Providence Spyder Accessories. I also installed a dash mount bar just behind the windshield (J.T.s Spyder store) that...

    OUT OF HIBERNATION

Me too! I was just thinking about you today. I took my :spyder2: out today too. It's been slumbering in the back of the garage all winter. Added a few farkles and zoomed away for a little bit. Still quite chilly, but it felt so good to get out again. I'm heading your way in June (TBD). Taking...

    Farkle time

Brought the Spyder out of hibernation today for some farkling. Added a Show Chrome driver back rest, Lamonster's self-leveling cup holder and his Wiredux Bright tips. The light tips make a nice safety light color balance for very little money. Next on the order list is a Spyderpops bumpskid and...

    iMotorsports VIP SpyderLovers Program

I'm a little confused. How do we take advantage of the VIP program for on-line parts ordering? Is there a sign-up or membership fee? Except for purchasing a Spyder from iMotorsports, did I miss something obvious.

Spyder Group - in the Buffalo/Rochester area?

Anyone up for a Spring ride for Rochester/Buffalo area? None of the local dealers seem to be interested in sponsoring or even helping to form a rider group. I have asked a few if we could send letters/email to past customers. It's a matter of customer privacy (as I would expect). This forum...

Just a little more storage on an RT..??

Show Chrome Trunk Rack... I installed the Show Chrome rack on the trunk lid of my '12 RT Ltd. Relatively easy if you follow the instructions to a tee and measure, measure, measure. For our 4-5hr trip to SpyderQuest (3 days) in Lake George NY, the rack worked out well. Plus, I like the look. It...

CONSENSUS HERE WILL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

Have it delivered CruzrJoe and BlueKnight have the BEST advice. This is not something to get experience the hard way. Also, forget about the riding, what about all the salt that is on the roads now in the northeast? Once it is safely at home, you can gain comfort and experience in your...
