• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Yet another tyre/tire query!

Usually it's a matter of what's available in the size you choose John. Obviously, there's a limited choice in 225/50, but we've also had good luck running 215/60's and there are those that would advocate it's a better size to fit the stock rim. Take a look at what's available and choose a tire...

Just got a new 14" RT Limited

I'm probably the odd man out here. I shift between 3000 and 4000 and try to keep the rpms around 3000 so as not to "lug" the engine.

    215/60R15 Michelin Hydroedge wear report

Jeez Bob, I can only drive so much :yikes::joke: Start out new = .360 Current after 3700 miles = .320 Used = .040 New estimated milage = .360 / .040 * 3700 = 33,300 So, it looks like the wear is slowing down slightly, but it's still on target to be a 30,000 mile tire (although that is...

    215/60R15 Michelin Hydroedge wear report

All I can tell you is I've had no problems with this tire in either the wet or dry. I would like to know what kind of Spyder did have a hydroplaning problem. I'm running this on a 1000# plus RT-L and if you put the same tire on a lighter RS or ST then I have no idea how it will re-act, but...

    Morgan 3

I'd love an original Morgan. Maybe someday if I sell the 67 vette I'll use the money from that to buy one. I probably can't get an original, but I might get a reproduction for the price of the vette

Changes to OEM Rear Tire Construction

Here's my 215/60/15 Hydroedge at 4000 miles and as you can see the wear is pretty even across the tire with 28 psi

    State inspection sticker location?

Most states have a "required" place so go with that. In NH it's the left front downtube and it must be readily visible. On the Spyder it's low on the flat of the body panel just ahead of the front wheels.
