• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SpyderPops LED Blinker and Spyclops on an F3 Limited

Wow! That looks fantastic, MMMII! My LED Headlights are in the mail. That definitely looks better than the stock headlights. Which headlights did you go with?

    F3 Limited, Pearl White

A good friend of mine ordered her white F3 Limited last week, and picked it up on Saturday. The dealer had a hard time finding one. The dealers that had them only had the one and wouldn't let it out of their shops. The white is purdy. Seems like BRP wanted to start with the black ones and...

    Fog light options for F3

Poor Jacob... He's not gonna know what hit him tomorrow!!

Bulletin #127064 - Rear Shock Slow Leak

Why yes he did! Would you look at that! I see it's for the RT, but gives you an idea how that works. Even more interesting is that the FOBO Bike app will recognize a 4th sensor, even though it is set for a trike. I just went out and tried it on my F3, and the sensor clears the...

Bulletin #127064 - Rear Shock Slow Leak

I happened to stumble upon the following information posted on Spydermates.com, and thought I would share. I read through a lot of the Owners Manual, focusing on the F3 specifics, but know I glossed over the "pre-ride checklist" having owned an RT before this. I did notice it bottom out during...

    Urban Rack - Plastic Version?!?!

Not worth $409 The other thing that lowers the quality is the "stick on" weatherstrip gasket. It's already coming off on one side. There's no channel that it rests in. I mean, really, this is a $50 product with a huge profit margin. I'm thinking I really just need to return this and go with...

    Urban Rack - Plastic Version?!?!

Ah, so in my mind, when I read the description of "Solid aluminum construction", I must have assumed it to be all Aluminum, and noticeable Aluminum. :sour: The bottom is definitely plastic, and tapping on the top, I just couldn't tell. It 'acts' like plastic. And the lid closes janky like...

    Urban Rack - Plastic Version?!?!

Definitely the Urban Rack Yep, it's definitely the lower-profile Urban Rack with the included netting. The only difference I see is that mine has a silver lock, and the one pictured above has a black lock.

    Urban Rack - Plastic Version?!?!

Did BRP make a plastic molded version of the Urban Rack (PART# 219400493)?? My dealer sold me an Urban Rack, and showed me the matching part number on the box, but I'm pretty darn sure this is flimsy plastic, not aluminum. The only metal I can find are a couple of screws and the eye-hole for...

SpyderPops LED Blinker and Spyclops on an F3 Limited

Yep! Funny!! I thought the same thing. :roflblack: Started researching LED headlight options this weekend after seeing how nice the Spyclops looked. I don't do a lot of night driving, but would want the same throw/distance of light. Some reviews I've seen seemed indicate you lose some...

    F3-Limited Mirror Removal

Funny, I did the same thing! I couldn't pull it up and pop it off like my RT. Unlike the RT, the plastic panel on the back of the mirror that surrounds the blinker pulls straight off. Just grab it at top and bottom and pull. It is held on with three retention clips. I can tell BRP decided...

SpyderPops LED Blinker and Spyclops on an F3 Limited

Pics Huh, pictures didn't upload. Here's some pics to go with that description... Accessing the Customer Accessory wire. I had to remove the tape, and cut off the wax-dipped ends, then strip those wires before hooking into them... And for reference, this is how much wire became excess...

SpyderPops LED Blinker and Spyclops on an F3 Limited

SpyderPops LED Blinker and Spyclops (and LED Headlights) on an F3 Limited Summary The SpyderPop's F3 Turn Signal/Blinker LED wires are going to be too short to reach the 2-pin disconnect on an F3 Limited, as it is inside the mirror housing. I was able to "fix" this problem by doing the...

TricLED F3 LED Headlights & Fog Lights

Subscribed! I'm interested to know what you think of the difference in lighting and if anyone flashes you for having too bright of lights on low beam? I'm assuming it's an easy install.

    Auxiliary lights

JUST IN TIME! Woo Hoo! This is great news! I just canceled my order for the stock fog lights from my dealer. They said it was "already in" and something about "under warranty if we install", and finally wanted to know why?!?! :)

    Can-Am in Household Goods Shipment?

NorthAmerican Van Lines We were transfered from Central Illinois to Atlanta as part of my job, and the company uses NorthAmerican Van Lines. I didn't have to drain anything, and they made sure my Spyder was the last thing loaded and the first thing unloaded at the destination. They did an...

Everybody loves a half (1/2) price sale.

Be aware that you will have to turn this off and on manually. I have one in the frunk, and would often forget to turn it off. It kills the battery, and then you have to wait a while for it to charge up before you can turn it on again. A thread of requests to have the device auto-off with...

    Stop Texting While Driving!

I just want a horn that sounds like a wreck is in progress... Screeching tires, banging metal sounds, horns, etc. Imagine someone hearing that while they are texting and thinking they are about to be hit. Just a little audio wake-up call. :yikes:

2013 RT Elevated Temperature in Engine Compartment - Safety Campaign

Mine has been in the shop since May 27th (because of the whole "gotta drop it off before we can order parts"). The weather hasn't been too conducive to riding, so I haven't been too antsy until now. Called Tuesday afternoon asking what was going on, and they said they still hadn't gotten to...
