• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Easy Risers vs Mirror Extensions

I have the easy risers and they Do make your hands more prevalent in your mirror, All I did was go to auto zone and buy a small adhesive wide angle mirror and placed it in the upper inside corner of the mirror where my hand would show up otherwise. I now can see fine in the other lane.:doorag:

    NEW QUESTION ???????????????

That would be nice, but no. You have to go to a dealer, or at least to a shop that has the current BUDS and have them hook it up to get that info. I have a dealer nearby that sells sea-doos but not Spyders, and he said he could hook- up to BUDS for me...never took him up on the offer after he...

I will post it again shortly and all of you can let me know who should be added to it and who needs to be taken off due to going out of business or change in mgmnt, prodeedures, ticked you off, etc. It...

    New milestone for me

Just noticed I passed the 500 hour mark on my :spyder:!:yes: Just a little over 19K on my :spyder: now. This may not be much for many of you, but I'm pretty certain I've got the most Spyder hours in the lowcountry! I'll probably need some new front tires before the BBQ, but other than...

Add me to the list who can't.

BUMMER:( It's a shame you couldn't ryde iot w/outthe DPS and have them look at it at Cowtown. With the dearth of Spyder knowledge there this week and if Len had an extra DPS, that sounds like the place I would wanna be if my :spyder: was giving me issues.:doorag:

    DPS Update

My :spyder: was in the shop 3 months for dps issues, but that was before DPS 2.0 (nat. recall) was brought into the mix last Sept. I've had zero probs w/ DPS 2.0, and have heard of very little issues with it. Which leads me to believe your service tech may have missed a step when installing...

    TRIPS

I think you could put a few more miles a day on an RT if you ride like you described. I'll let others like Docdoru or Lamonster vouch for that.:D I agree w/ JNT tho- get a few miles under your belt just to get any kinks out and to get used to Spyder ryding

The gas price surge is being felt here in WA

Yeah, for me it makes a difference. The lattes were gone a LONG time ago. My margins are pretty tight and I am cutting back now so I can make my big trips later. I fill up my :spyder: about 7 times a month. I get to ryde it approx 35 miles every time I ryde it to work. When I bought it it cost...

The gas price surge is being felt here in WA

In a word, YES. :sour: I am still set on Lamont's BBQ/Maggie Valley, as well as a cross country trip from SC to AZ in late Sept., but am cutting back on my joy ryding now. Not taking as many 100+mile trips just to enjoy the :f_spider:. Since the :spyder:gets better mileage than my WRX...
