• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    600 vs 900 newbie

    I understand the concern and want for the 900 due to 2-up, but the 600 handles it well. I have traveled up a 175 ft bridge several times with my wife on the back without any trouble at all. Haven't noticed any slow-down at all, and as a matter of fact, I have been able to accelerate uphill! Francis

    Sorry for the confusion, the title is due to having to trim the white ring. Was trying to warn anyone about installation issue of having to modify OEM part as it's not a straight plug-and-play. I am satisfied with the LED output. Francis

    I purchased these LEDs on Amazon: I liked the looks and they have good ratings. I found that I had to trim the white locking ring a bit to get them to fit. The tab here needed to go. Once in, I do like the results. Low: High: Here's from the front comparing the OEM and LED: Francis

    I agree, my wife tells me that when we are riding around, she doesn't hold on very much; usually only when she knows we are going to hit a bump. I do have the 2-up rear spring and high back folding seat back. Francis

    You'll need to look in there real good. I just went out and looked at mine: the wires are part of the unit and they move with it. On yours, they may be hung up on something down there. The first photo is with the unit all the way back. Francis

    My experience at freeway speeds with my 600 has been the same as dbk2tavi's; real comfortable (had it up to 75 with my wife on the back, no problem!). I had it up to 90mph before hitting traffic. I have over 2600 miles on my Ryker. Francis
