• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    BajaRon Shock Adjuster install

Finished the installation here too. First time I haven't had to remove a bunch of plastic to do the job. Followed SpyderCruiser's recommendation to use a breaker bar and socket, with one slight modification. I placed two strips of electrical tape across from each other inside the socket just to...

    Ultimate seat

I use mine when it looks like it's going to rain. That's not to say my Ultimate has never been rained on. Some times you just don't know. As Des (Ultimate) explained it to me it's the stitching. Get it wet enough and, over time, capillary action will carry the water to where you don't want it...

Weird, has this happened to anyone? Check engine light come on then disappear

What was the temperature like Friday evening? It's been pretty hot up here! Had a similar thing happen to me a couple years back. Was a particularly hot day. Spyder was sitting in the lot of a local restaurant while my wife and I were in eating. Went to leave, started the Spyder and got the...

    Laser Alignment Bulletin

Not the bulletin requested (can't imagine it's that much different) but after a bit of looking my local service manager stumbled on "Service Bulletin 2014-6 Roadster Alignment Specifications" which states in part "True Laser Track is a recommended supplier of laser alignment kits..." The file...

    Swaybar

Installed Ron's bar on my '11 RT and never looked back. Best money I could have spent. Haven't had time to do the same on my '14 RT but it's coming!

    I just don't understand

My wife used to ride along but physical issues have, for the present time, precluded her from doing so. We have the Sena SMH10R on our helmets. The intercom is always open as we exchange comments about everything from the beautiful scenery we are riding through to the cager who just tried to...

    Kansas owners

I'll add my two cents to Elembytes and say if you can make a way to take your Spyder to arguably the nations premiere all-things-Spyder facility where the people there actually know what they're doing and care, about it and you, you and your Spyder will be better off for it.

    RT Ltd RearAir Shock

The ACS system is more about ride height than rider comfort. That's why the ACS sensor is attached to the swing arm. More weight on the seat and in the compartments calls for more air in the bag to maintain a certain ride height. Empty the compartments the ACS will probably let air out of the...

2011 RTS air suspension not working

Ditto what bruiser said. You've gotta be on it and in gear for the compressor to run whether you or the ACS sensor is making the adjustment. You should be able to hear the compressor running. There is a Schrader valve under the seat you can use to check the pressure and inflate the ACS system...

2011 RT, Ultimate, backrest, sheepskin. Bob hit the nail on the head, again. Strong Arm 4418 did the trick for me. Got mine at Advance Auto Parts.
