• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Then if the shop is actually reputable they'll change the brake fluid every 2 years as it's part of the maintenance schedule.

How To Change and Balance Your Own Spyder Tires

That guys method is extremely accurate. I have access to a Marc Parnes balancer similar to the one in video and a computer spin balancer, balance on the Marc Parnes balancer, then put it on the computer balancer and it comes up .000 every time.

    Brake fluid

That's usually the mentality of the people who think they can do their own service but are too scared or don't have the knowledge to venture out from the standard oil change. If you were to bring your vehicle back to the dealership for its regular services they'd most definitely be changing your...

    Brake fluid

I changed mine at 3 years and 10k miles and the stuff looked about like drain oil. I went though almost two 12oz bottles before I got everything to run nice and clean. I sucked the reservoirs empty with vacuum bleeder first, topped up with clean fluid, then pumped clean fluid through until I...

Dealership said don’t use 8mm spark plug wires

Excellent reply, thank you! I didn't realise that your kits included the stuff and I fully plan on buying the stuff from you. I won't really need the stuff until the end of this season when I anticipate hitting that 14k mile mark. Thanks again.

Dealership said don’t use 8mm spark plug wires

No code involved seeing I didn't ask for application recommendation. And I wasn't really asking where to buy it, more of a brand recommendation because I've never seen the stuff before. Funny, 2 other members were able to crack my "code" you just jumped to your conclusion.

And thank you for that, it actually answers my question. I'll look there.

Dealership said don’t use 8mm spark plug wires

I have no clue what you're talking about. I'm not disputing that you need the thermal paste, I was merely asking for a supplier or brand of thermal paste. I did read all the comments, you need to read all the WORDS. I see now that BajaRon's kits include the paste so I'd be all set seeing I'll...

Dealership said don’t use 8mm spark plug wires

So, any recommendation on this "thermal paste". I can't say I've ever seen the stuff on the autoparts store shelves before but I can't say I've ever looked.

    Updated 2017 Spyder Pricing

Lots of GREAT prices on their website! And it says freight and set-up is included in their low price. I think now with all the internet sales and out of state buying, the OTD price is everything but tax. Back in the day OTD was including tax because you were talking to your buddy next door or...

    Dodge RAM pickup general question.

Ha ha! That's such a lame video considering one of the Worlds Strongest men pulled a Boeing 767.

    Dodge RAM pickup general question.

I had a 2010 "DODGE" Ram 1500 (yes it was a Dodge even in 2010) that I recently traded in for a 2018 Ram 2500. The ride of the 2500 is much more firm even with the rear coil springs. One of the biggest issues is they want the rear tires aired up to 80 psi all the time, even when empty. I drop my...

    ST panel removal

I did the sway and didn't remove the frunk, as mentioned you just need to get the front high in the air. The instructions tell you how far in the air it needs to be, something like 22". To remove most of those upper panels you need to get the mirrors off which there is sort of an art to once...

    The ST ride and handling.

Honestly, I think if you're going to spend any money at all I think it should be on a laser alignment. I think we spent about $130 to have it done. You hate to be trying to adapt to something that isn't right. Coming from an ex go kart racer, proper toe/alignment is huge. Other than that, just...

That's like saying your brakes are fine until you need to stop. But hey, whatever works for each individual is all that matters.

    The ST ride and handling.

This paragraph makes really no sense. How can you rule those things out as problems if you haven't done any of them but are still having handling problems with your "RT"? I can tell you for a fact that, laser alignment, sway bar and increasing front spring preload drastically improved the...

    The ST ride and handling.

Relax, laser alignment and crank up the front spring preload. The factory front springs are pretty weak. We also added the BajaRon sway bar and links to ours. It handles great now!
