• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Belt tension

So what's the rule of thumb, the higher the tension the higher the speed that you might get belt vibration?

    Belt tension

Is this just a guess or a proven fact from BRP? My service manual states 1050N +/- 150N.

    AAA or AMA

I agree, at $49 a year you really can't beat it. AAA with RV was costing us something like $170 a year and still risked being in an area where they didn't tow motorcycles.

    AAA or AMA

AMA only covers 35 miles but if you need to go further all you pay for are the extra miles. You won't pay for hookup or that first 35 miles. We used it once for a car breakdown and the cops called a wrecker service to get the car. That towing company didn't deal with AMA so we paid the full...

    CYCLE GEAR NOT GOOD

I wear the Heat Out stuff as well and have never had an issue with it. And their return policy is pretty much the same as every other online retailer.

Limp home mode checking belt alignment?

That's what I did later on. I spun it by hand about 10 revolutions and I'm about 2mm off the lip on the rear sprocket.

    C-Clamp on front brakes?

Just be sure to leave the inner pad in place when using the C clamp method. Otherwise if you just push in one piston at a time there is a chance the other piston will pop out of the caliper.

    C-Clamp on front brakes?

The rear screws in because of the parking brake. The fronts will just push in with the screwdriver twist technique or C clamp.

How many miles on rear tire

You weren't the only one. We got 4400 out of ours but we replaced it when it hit the wear bars. This was on a 14 ST-L.

Limp home mode checking belt alignment?

It only did it while the rear wheel was jacked up and spinning to check alignment. As soon as I moved/rode it all the lights went out. I don't think I saw the speedometer go over 5 mph.

Limp home mode checking belt alignment?

Has anyone had this happen while checking the belt alignment? Is there a certain speed to stay under in order to not trigger the limp home mode/brake failure? Once it rolled a few feet on all three wheels it went back to normal. Unfortunately that code will be stored now.

    Parking Brake Adjustment

Can you see how much pad is left? The parking brake should be self adjusting. Every time you actuate the parking brake it screws the caliper piston out.

    Trailer Recommendations

It looks like they call a 7x19 V nose inline trailer good for a 2 place snowmobile trailer. I bet that would be perfect for your bikes.

    Trailer Recommendations

Look at the two place inline drive on drive off snowmobile trailers and see if they'll fit your bikes. I have a standard 7x16 enclosed and it's just right for my Tiger and an ST-L but your Victory is going to be longer than my Tiger.
