• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Won’t go in reverse or manually downshift

Hmmmm! I think I have put my comment in the wrong group. RT instead of F3. My apologies.

Won’t go in reverse or manually downshift

My 2020 F3L stopped manual down shifting and the cause was proven to be the left hand switch cluster. BRP's letter stated that there were no replacements available 'in the world'. My replacement took about 6 monhs to arrive. My response was 'unbelievable' when I read the letter. A number of...

Thinking of adding Fender Lighting - input fm those who have?

I bolted a pair of spot lights to the front fender insides so that they pointed in the direction the wheels are pointing. Double bonus with better lighting on corners and a wider spread of light straight ahead. Wired into a low beam loom wire.

28,000 mile service on my 2020 RT

Thanks PW...., for both the description and the photos. You have kindly gone out of your way to provide help for others doing these tasks.

    My 2020 F3L too.

Compare a 500 mile ride on a Spyder with same on 2 wheels?

A test ryde sound good. However, it needs to be much more than a ryde around the block. My aches and stifness come in after 1.5 hours, no matter how comfortable the seat feels before then.

Eco mode doesn't seem to be working

Thanks for the graph JayBros. Best explanation yet of ECO mode to cross my reading.

    Erratic shifting problem

Another side to you rgear changing technique, Piratezz, is fuel economy. Changing gear in the 3300-3700 zonme will give you good economy. When traveling a little more excitedly you can easily move up to change higher. These 3 cyl Rotax engines will rev very lively and love it. Making them slug...

Question regarding the passenger seat switch

Me too bcraig. Somtimes I carry 10+ kg loads loads strapped down across the pax seat and have found that the automatic height adjustment works very well in favour of good handling. That's not as heavy as a full size pax but I'm not about to stop the switch from enabling that clever function.

    Here's some New Kenda Tires!?!

Yes Peteoz. I've read lots of other ryders experiences and played around significently with pressures suited to vigerous ryding in the mountains. 16/21 works well fo me and has given great grip and wear results. Wheel alignment is critical as well as preload setting to go with the Rabit sway...

    Here's some New Kenda Tires!?!

16psi front and 21psi rear. Rear changed at 20k km and close to the wear depth markers with winter weather coming on. Rear wore pretty flat and a long way from some of the photos I've seen posted with bald centre tread. Fronts are soon to be changed at 30k km as part of prep for a 3 week...

    Long distance highway tire pressures?

28psi in the rear I found was too high and a cause of oversteering/understeering (I can's remember which). My book of truth says 28 psi, but my opinion/experience says that figure is for 2 up loaded ryding/touring. My 2020F3L is now set for 16-17 fronts and 22-23 rear. Rear may still be a...

Great result. I also followed these posts and was impressed with the good manners and good advice going back and forth.

    Metal valve stems

There is good advice in an earlier post to change the valve along with each and every tyre change. Tubeless valves cost zip and take moments to replace. Leaking old valves can cost a whole lot more if the tyre deflates out bush.

Some times when I start my 2017 F3 LTD i hear a pop noise.

I found that if I start before the switch on cycle has completed its booting unusual things can happen. Possibly you are starting a little too quickly for the computer to finish waking every thing up.

Any pics of liquid titanium F3-Limited add on graphics?

I also share your thoughts. Not wanting to advertise Can Am in big letters (or small) it is difficult to find wraps that blend with our Liquid Titanium. We are looking at having an appropriate photo copied onto the stick-on mediam. Can't decide just what we want to look at every time we ryde...

Good deal on rear tire replacement

Sounds like yet another guesser trying to frighten customers with junk talk. Both tyre and pad wear depend upon many possible situations, some often forgotten by replacement time. I'd be watchful with this workshop.

Gas gauge not going to full most times?!

My 2020 F3L is much the same. A second replacement sender unit is on order.
