• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    2020 RT Safety Recall. Not everyone is affected.

    That's normal, it has been like that since the very first Spyder. The sensor is mounted low on the engine intake to monitor the air temp for the fuel injection system (ECU). The display is only for show.

    There is a known issue with the 2018's paddle shifter, service bulletin 2018-005. The fix is to replace the left hand control module.

    Remember, the 1330 engine, as was the V-Twin, is a dry sump engine. The oil is stored in an external tank. When the engine is not running, some of the oil drains from the tank, that's why the instructions say to check the oil level after shutdown when the engine is fully warmed. My guess is...

    Here in eastern Ontario, Canada, I was able to see a 2020 RT demo machine at Loiselles Sports in Embrun. I know an other dealer was scheduled to have a demo the following week, most likely the same machine. Check with you local dealers, they may have a demo at some point in time.

    Did dealer give me the wrong GPS?

    You say it's a 2015 RT-S, the RT-S did not come with a GPS, so, it must be an addon. Is it a new or used Spyder, I'm guessing used. Therefore, you probably got whatever the previous owner left with the machine.

    Somebody posted on Facebook that the dealership Comtant in Mirabel, north of Montreal had a 2020 RT. I assume it was a demo unit and for a limited time. There was no mention if you could take a test ride. Check with your local dealers, they may get one at some time.
